Mounting the mud guards The mud guard support 75 marked by an "X" has to be mounted onto the right-hand side (direction of traffic), while the bracket marked "O" 76 onto the left-hand side (direction of traffic). First attach to these supports the mud flaps 77 and the mud guards 7 with each four screws and nuts 09. Then use screws 6, serrated washers 5, bushing 6, two washers and M nut to attach the supports to the rear holes on the axle carriers.. Mounting the spring set with axle Hang both long spring leaves with their open ends to the bushing and use a screw, bushing 6, washer and M nut to screw the closed ends to the axle carrier. Press one each M nut into the hexagonal recess on the lower spring carrier. The axle 68 can now be mounted together with the spring carriers, one medium spring leaf each, a short spring leaf and screws. Ensure that the sides of the spring carrier marked by an "A" are mounted towards the wheel. Mount the wheels accordingly to chapter. before you start tightening the screws. Please ensure that the spring sets are not under tension and can move freely. The assembly of the fore rear axle has to be done in the same sense but without the mudguards.. Mounting the wheels Note: Sometimes it happens that the chromed rims sit too tightly on the axle (work tolerance); in this case remove a bit the chrome inside the rims, and lightly grease the running surface (e.g. using Vaseline). Once you have mounted the tyres 5 onto the rims 5, add the wheels onto the shaft, with the wheel nuts facing towards each other and the chromed rims towards the outside; secure with washer 0 and screw 7. The wheels should turn easily but there should not be too much play. 9 Bulb for blinker B-6- Bulb for rear light Bulb for brake light 9 Inserting the bulbs 7 0 9 57 9 57 7 --- Nut M Screw M x 8 7 Bumper, rear 57 Screw M x 0 0 Bumper bracket Note! The bridging clamps 8 -inserted in the sections and screwed together by square nuts- secure each panel, also inserted in the sections. 6. Completion of the head-panel frame Now prepare the head panel. Add two square nuts to one of the short corner sections and insert corner connectors 7 into both ends of the corner section. Affix the corner connectors with each one screw. Then fix the two vertical corner sections by the same way onto the protruding tabs of the already assembled corner connectors and furnished as well by each two square nuts. Now slide the four angles 99 from top into the grooves of the three corner sections. Set on the last corner section with the inserted square nuts and, at the same time, slide it into the corner connectors. Secure the unit with screws. 6. Assembly of the right side panel and of the floor Insert one each long corner section 9 into the brackets of the corner connectors on bottom of the head panel: one into the left and one into the right bracket. Secure both sections with screw. Slide each five square nuts into the grooves of the right-hand and the lefthand corner sections. Then slide the base into the grooves of the corner sections and lay the long side panel 0 into the right corner section. Pin one further corner section 9 onto the bracket of the corner connector (top, right side) and of the side panel and fix it onto the bracket with screw. Insert five square nuts into the groove of the corner section. Fix both, base and side panel, onto the corner section (bottom, right side), onto the head panel, bottom, and onto the right side with bridging clamps 8, screws and inserted square nuts. 6. Assembly of the left side panel Into the groove of the long corner section (bottom, left side) insert one side panel 0. Use then bridging clamps 8, screws and square nuts (already inserted) to fix it onto both, the head panel and the long corner section. Add five square nuts to the last long corner section 9 and insert it into the bracket of the corner connector (top, left side) and onto the short side panel (left side), and fix it with screw onto the proper bracket. 6. Assembly onto the chassis Fix the Container base with six screws and nuts M onto the fitting holes on the frame of the completed chassis.
