Please read and follow these steps before beginning the installation. These products may represent a potential shock or fire hazard if improperly installed or attached in any way. Products should be installed in accordance with these instructions, current electrical codes and/or the National Electric Code (NEC). Do not connect directly to high voltage power (120-277v)! To avoid electrical shock, disconnect or disable power at the source prior to installation or maintenance. To avoid electrical shock, use only 24v hardwire or plug in power supply. Factory warranty will be void if used otherwise. To avoid product failure, pair the correct voltage power supply to the correct voltage LED Neon Flow. LLI Architectural Lighting s LED Neon is suitable for outdoor use and damp locations (IP65). Do not use if there is any damage to the unit or to the power cord s insulation. Inspect periodically. Do not puncture, cut, shorten, or splice LED Neon. Consult factory for custom configurations. Do not secure LED Neon or it s power cord with staples, nails, or any other sharp objects that may damage the cords. Do not roll out LED Neon on rough surfaces and over sharp corners. Do not secure LED Neon with staples, nails, or any other sharp objects that may damage the PVC material. Ensure proper gauge wires are installed between Power Supplies, Controls & LED Neon lighting to avoid voltage drop. Ensure applicable wires are in compliance with local codes (In-wall rated, wet-location, high temperature, etc.). Prep LED Neon Flow for Installation STEP 1 STEP 2 Remove the LED Neon from it s package and un-roll the LEDs. Measure the location where the LED Neon will be placed. STEP 3 STEP 4 Fasten mounting clips/channel onto mounting surface using appropriate hardware (not included). Carefully press the LED Neon into the support channel or mounting clips until secure. NOTE: Maximum length for single run of 24vdc is 50ft. If powered from each end maximum run length can be extended to 100ft. NOTE: Do not install with bend radius smaller than 3.5 for LED Neon Flow. 4
STEP 5 STEP 6 Locate and route power feed wire back to power supply. Mount power supply in desired location and connect LED Neon to low voltage output of power supply. Connect power supply to 120vac line voltage and turn on LED Neon product. NOTE: Connect the positive wire from the power supply to the positive (+) wire on the LED Neon Flow. Connect the negative (-) wire from the power supply to the negative wire on the LED Neon Flow. Please make sure you always connect to the correct polarity. Each section is marked with a (+) for positive and a (-) for negative. If a section does not energize, you may need to check the connector or switch the wires. 5
