02 Comet Trade Fair Report BOLOGNA ITALY Autopromotec 2017, there is strength in numbers COMET and PTC present their new products at the automotive aftermarket fair. The 27th edition of Autopromotec (Bologna) closed its doors only a few days ago the international automotive aftermarket fair. This fair was held from 24th to 28th May and saw the presence of 1,651 exhibitors arriving from 53 countries from all the continents. Compared to the previous edition, this one registered record numbers, utilising 16 exhibition halls and 4 outdoor areas. Compared to 2015, there was a considerable increase in the presence of international delegations from emerging countries of the Far East, South America and Eastern Europe. The organisers confirmed the fair s success, corroborating numbers of paramount importance: 113,616 professionals, a good 9.627 more than in the previous edition (+9.26%). Out of these 90,061 from Italy and 23,555 from abroad with an 8.06% increase in Italian professionals and a 14.09% increase in international professionals.

06 Comet Trade Fair Report PTC S NEW PRODUCTS Autopromotec also proved to be the ideal moment for presenting the PTC 1 UHP to the world, the brand new ultra high water pressure jetting unit, designed specifically for water paint stripping, a technique that uses the pressure of water as the only tool for removing paint and rust from sheet metal. The ultrahigh pressure water jet (up to 2250 ) effectively and quickly removes all types of paint from car bodywork without deforming the materials and without leaving any kind of toxic residuals.
