DRMINA ION OF BILLING DMAND Maximum demand is defined as the highest measured thirty (30) minute average kilwatt (kw) lad during the billing perid. Mnthly billing demand will be the maximum demand. MONHL Y MINIMUM CHARG he mnthly minimum charge is the Custmer Charge fr 1) nn-dg custmers, and 2) grandfathered DG custmers he fllwing minimum bill amunt will be applicable fr all new DG Custmers fr each billing cycle where the sum f the base rate charges is less than the specified minimum bill: 1. $39.00 fr a DG custmer chsing the Standard Service Mnthly Rate; 2. $36.50 fr a DG custmer chsing the Alternate ime-f-use (OU) Mnthly Rate; r 3. N minimum bill prvisin is applicable t DG Custmers electing t take service under the xperimental Demand Charge Mnthly Rate, ther than the Custmer Charge. Grandfathering: DG Custmers wh have submitted and have had accepted by P an applicatin fr intercnnectin prir t the day the Public Utility Cmmissin f exas issues a final rder in Dcket N. 46831, will be cnsidered grandfathered and will nt be subject t the Minimum Bill prvisin at their current premises fr a grandfathering term f 20 years frm the date f intercnnectin f that DG installatin. Shuld the riginal intercnnectin custmer mve r sell the premises at which the DG system is installed, then the grandfathering will cntinue t apply t that DG system fr subsequent wners fr the remainder f the grandfathering term fr thse premises where the riginal DG was installed. OFF-PAK WAR HAING RIDR his rider is clsed t all new service applicatins, Fr dmestic electric water heating service (swimming pl water heating, cmmercial dishwasher water heating and water heating utilized fr space heating excluded). he service shall be metered n a circuit which shall include nly water heating elements and exclude all ther services. Perids f electric supply service may be scheduled t cnfrm t ff-peak cnditins f the Cmpany's system. he Cmpany reserves the right t change the ff-peak perid f supply t meet the changing ff-peak cnditins f its system. he Cmpany, at its ptin, will furnish and cnnect t the Custmer's wiring and retain wnership f a time switch r suitable device t regulate the hurs f use. Service under this rider shall be limited t water heaters f thirty (30) gallns r mre capacity. All water heaters will be cntrlled by a thermstat and if tw r mre heating elements are used, the water heater will be wired s that nly ne element will perate at ne time. he minimum wattage f all heating elements shall ttal nt less than 3,000 watts. Service may be limited where the Custmer has an abnrmally large cnnected lad, and is nly available as a secndary service in cnjunctin with a main service. NON-MRD SRVIC In instances when metering f energy wuld be impractical because f the lw mnthly level f usage and when estimates f this usage can be accurately calculated, the Cmpany may, at its ptin, prvide nn-metered service. Billings fr nn-metered service shall be based n the custmer charge plus the mnthly energy usage calculated by the Cmpany and applied t the energy charge f this rate schedule. All ther apprved factrs are als applicable. he Custmer is respnsible fr ntifying the Cmpany f additins f equipment served under the Nn-Metered Service prvisin. Failure t prvide ntice will result in a billing adjustment calculated by the Cmpany. he billing adjustment will be equal t six (6) mnths billing based n the calculated mnthly cnsumptin f the nn-meter lad..fixd FUL FACOR Service under this rate schedule is subject t the prvisins f the Cmpany's Rate Schedule N. 98 (Fixed Fuel Factr). RMS OF PAYMN he due date f the bill fr utility service shall nt be less than sixteen (16) days after issuance. A bill becmes delinquent if nt received at the Cmpany by the due date.
