Comfort 3 Description Comfort 3 is a fresh air unit complete with heater, thermostat and filter. Comfort 3 is ideal for tempering of replacement air in rooms with extraction of used air. Filter Comfort 3 s filter is conveniently located immediately behind the front. The filter ensures easy and uncomplicated cleaning or replacement. The standard filterer is made of easy cleanable polyester foam. Allergic filter of filter grade EU7 is available as option. Air intake Comfort 3 is delivered with an outside grille as standard, which is developed for extremely low air resistance. The grille protects efficiently against rain etc. Wall duct with dampers The wall ducting is round with an internal diameter of Ø. The duct is equipped with an aerodynamic and self-regulating damper. At a pressure drop of around. pa. the damper startsclosing to prevent over ventilation. Silencing Under normal conditions the Comfort 3 offers sufficient damping. Supplemental damping can be achieved with an integrated silencer built into the wall duct. Heating coil Comfort 3 is built around a heating element. A special system protects it against damages due to freezing the element. The heating element is built in a way to ensure a uniform distribution of heat across the element. This means fresh air without draft. Counter damper Comfort 3 is equipped with an efficient counter damper which prevents room air to pass backwards out through the unit due to negative pressure on the rear side of the building. Along with the wind damper this counter damper is very efficient. The counter damper is purely mechanical operated with a closing pressure of only, Pa. Temperature control Behind the front an easy accessible thermostat valve is placed. The temperature of the intake air is controlled automatically with a sensing element in the air stream. The optimum function is achieved when the fresh air is app. C below desired room temperature. Factory setting is 18 C. In situations with small loads, low volumes etc., the supply temperature may vary. Maintenance Comfort 3 can be opened with special tooling, where after access to filter, thermostat, heating element and damper is granted.
