Linde Hydraulics has specially developed the HPV-02 CA for use in various applications like telehandlers, wheel loaders or dumpers. It enables engine-speed-dependent driving that is exactly coordinated with the pressure requirements of the driving status and the installed engine power. In combination with our fixed displacement, variable displacement and regulating motors in single as well as double-motor configuration, the HPV-02 CA enables the design of highly individual propel drive systems that are tailored to the diesel power, maximum driving speed, degree of resolution and conversion type: either direct or via transmission stages. Selection of pump/motor based on speed and torque (pump speed 2300min -1 ) The layout diagram below enables the initial selection of the required nominal sizes of the hydrostats and the selection of the motor types. Example: the optimum use of the conversion range is reached by a variable displacement motor HMV 135-02 and a HPV 75-02 CA. Compact working machines require compact drive solutions. The conventional design of propel drives for wheel loaders, telehandlers or dumpers is based on a fast rotating variable displacement motor, the speed of which is reduced to the wheel speed via several transmission stages. The disadvantage: loss of mechanical efficiency, increased windage losses and high noise levels. As an alternative, our large-displacement PTO Through-Drive- Motors offer the option of reducing the hydraulic motor speed and the number of drive train components. This is due to PTO single and double-motors having two shaft ends for torque output. This enables these motors to be installed directly into the drive train. The direct installation and high conversion range of these largedisplacement hydraulic motors provide decisive advantages: - Increase in installation space - Fewer interfaces and parts - Less noise - Increased overall efficiency - Reduced fuel consumption
Even better with the HPV-02 CA. Whether accelerating or braking, highly dynamic driving and variable distribution of power are the main issues for wheel loaders, telehandlers and dumpers. As a consequence, the hydraulic pump is actuated indirectly via the diesel speed instead of directly via the control pedals. This ensures that the displacement characteristic of the hydraulic pump determines the machine s drive behaviour. The HPV-02 CA offers functional quality, comfort and safety at the level of electro-hydraulic actuation. Precise power control settings enable full utilisation of the available power. The torque control and performance limiter can be variably defined.
