2 Exploitation and maintenance 2.1 Control Panel (CP) BkfCarWash washing module is controlled and navigated from the level of a liquid-crystal control touch-pad (Control Panel) which is situated on the doors of a switchboard. 2.1.1 Panel Operation BKF Control Panel is operated through a touch-pad. If a button or a field is to be pressed or changed, use your finger to press a field where a particular element is located. Do not use hard or sharp objects because it may result in a permanent and irredeemable damage of a display. 2.1.2 Start Page Menu 3. Service Technician level allowing for change of some factory settings available exclusively for an authorized service centre. From the Start Page level you can go to other pages such as: Stands Osmosis Diagnostics Rotations Setup General Information On many system pages you may select an appropriate stand. Control Panel is a system which can operate up to 8 stands. Passwords BKF Control Panel has got 3 access levels: 1. Guest default level allowing view of basic parameters of a car wash exclusively. No edition or reading of rotations option. 2. Administrator level allowing for the administration of a car wash, rotation readings and change of key settings. 2.1.4 Osmosis 2.1.3 Stands Picture 2.4 Osmosis Control Page BKF Control Panel Picture 2.3 Stand Page BKF Control Panel Stand Page is for observation of key parameters of a stand work; users with access to administrator (or higher) level, may also count service impulses and control a car wash Menu Stand Status o Impulse the amount of money left till the end of wash o Ser + - a button for a service impulses count. It is available for users with access minimum to administrator level. Service impulses are counted on separate counters. o Stop stop button status. Green - pressed, red pressed; stand blocked. o NO - green pressure reducer works in normal mode o NC - green - pressure reducer works in bypass mode o Slow - green engine works in slow rotations o Fast - green - engine works in high rotations Menu Program Selection enables starting a program from Control Panel Level. Osmosis Page enables monitoring of osmosis parameters. 2.1.5 Diagnostics Picture 2.5.2 The second Page of Diagnostics BKF Control Panel Picture 2.5.1 The First Page of Diagnostics BKF Control Panel The Page enables to check the status of particular activated elements of a car wash: Temperature the temperature of surroundings of a car wash Inside Temperature the temperature inside a car wash (option) Circulation 1 - green a circulation pump of equipment is on Osmosis Measurement 1 (2/3) - green an osmosis pump of equipment 1 (2/3) is on Float of Pr. 4 of equipment 1 (2/3) - green a float of level of osmotic water in equipment 1 (2/3). If an indicator is red, contact a service centre. Heating Pump 1 - green a floor heating pump 1 of equipment is on Dispenser gear 1 (2/3) shows current gear of a dispenser. Set temperature value for supply water; set floor temperature value (for ECO system) Heating (%) the percentage rate of heating system use Pow. Pos. 2.1.6 Engine speed 2.1.7 Setup Picture 2.8 The Page of Engine speed BKF Control Panel Engine Speed Page allows for reading the number of inserted payment units. Make sure which stand is active before quantity reading. This page is accessible for persons with administrator authorization minimum. Cash register it is an absolute register counting payment units (cash) Service it is a register of service units set from the side of a Stand Work time it is a register of work hours for each stand separately Coins / Notes / Key - these are registers which can be reset in any time by a person holding administrator authorization minimum. This register counts payment units between subsequent emptying of money cases. Reset inter-meter it is a button which resets coin, notes and keys inter-counter. Picture 2.9 The Setting Page of BKF Control Panel This Page allows for selected cars wash parameters setting and fro access to pages with further settings: Circulation Temperature- the temperature which activates circulation system. Changes are entered with pressing the field and entering new value on a numerical pad. Heating temperature - the temperature which activates floor heating. Changes are entered with pressing the field and entering new value on a numerical pad. Central Heating Temperature - the temperature which activates central heating inside a car wash. Changes are entered with pressing the field and entering new value on a numerical pad (only selected car washes). Powder dosing powder quantity dosed for work of one stand. The set value presents the time of dispenser work in 4second cycle. The following chart shows dosing values. Start come back to Start Page Screen go to the Page of screen settings Internet go to the Page of the Internet settings Fees go to the Page of fees settings Offers - go to the Page of offer settings Password go to the Page of password changing 2.1.9 Fees If the date is not set correctly it may lead to faulty functioning of the offer functions. Make sure that the date is set correctly. 2.1.8 Screen Picture 2.11 The Page of fees setting of BKF Control Panel This Page allows for the change of fees for particular wash programs. Programs: Turbo (PrT) and Rims (PrF) are optional. Changes of fees are entered with pressing fees field and entering new value on a numerical pad. The fee unit equals to s/monetary unit therefore we set the amount of seconds sold to a customer for one monetary unit. Picture 2.10 The Page of screen settings of BKF Control Panel This Page allows for setting of basic screen functions. Commercial Mode / Free Mode the selection of work mode of equipment. When in Free Mode, the stands are active without the need to pay for a wash (this option is very useful during start-up offers of new car washes or in car showrooms). Start of time counters - the selection of a time when the impulse countdown starts. o Without delay the impulse countdown starts immediately after money is inserted. o With delay the impulse countdown starts after the program selection. Time Out - the time in seconds of automatic screen-saver. Change of authorization in case of switching it to on after the activation of screen-saver, the authorization is automatically changed to guest. This change is activated after the first touch. 2.1.10 Offers Picture 2.14 Page no 2 of offer module of BKF Control Panel Offer module enables for the creation of promotion actions for each day separately in two time periods maximum. For a day selected, enter the hours when a promotion is valid and how many free seconds are added to each impulse (monetary unit). In the field from, values from the scope of 0-23 may be entered, in the field to values from the scope 1-24. Moreover, it should be remembered that from value cannot be higher than to value. Two time periods enables the generation of offers, for example from 8pm to 8am the following day. Examples: To execute an offer from midnight to 8am, enter from 0 to 8. To execute an offer from 8pm to midnight, enter from 20 to 24. To execute an offer from 3pm to 8pm, enter from 15 to 20. To execute an offer from 8pm to 8am in week days, in the fields Mon. Fr. Enter from 0 to 8 and from 20 to 24. There is an option to copy values from the Monday day to all week days. This option is useful for offers which take place every day at the same hours. In such a case, particular parameters should be entered in Mon. day and then Copy from Mon. Button should be pressed. Free Field: shows current (in particular time) number of seconds given to a customer for free to each impulse. 2.2 Upgrade The manufacturer of Control Panel issues periodically new versions of software.
