Exterior The Golf Alltrack has been designed with the great Australian outdoors firmly in mind. porty, stylish and sturdy, it combines the space and practicality of a family-sized wagon with the go-anywhere resilience of a robust off-roader. Cast your eyes over the latest in Volkswagen s Golf line-up and you ll discover a vehicle built to withstand the rigours of off-road driving. With its raised ground clearance the Golf Alltrack will take on uneven surfaces with confidence, while durable 17" Valley alloy wheels (18" Canyon alloy wheels optional) keep the Golf Alltrack firmly planted, whether on bitumen or loose gravel. 01 Rugged it may be, but the Golf Alltrack sacrifices nothing in terms of style and poise. Chrome and silver highlights all around the vehicle lend an attractive touch. These highlights include ilver door mirrors and side sill extensions, as well as ilver underbody trim and chrome trim strips on the side windows. Chrome roof rails provide the perfect excuse to stow additional gear next time you embark on a long-haul trip. In profile the Golf Alltrack is unmistakably a Golf, but design features, front and rear, reveal the Alltrack to have its own unique style. A distinctive chrome strip extends through both headlights and runs the length of the honeycomb radiator grille, guiding the eye to the Volkswagen badge. Below the grille sits a lower air intake, also in honeycomb, which features an attractive horizontal crossbar. 02 01 17-inch Valley alloy wheels 02 Chrome exhaust tailpipes with optional port Luxury package shown tylish Bi-Xenon headlights cast a strong beam over oncoming road, while LED daytime driving lights ensure the vehicle is always seen. Front fog lights with static cornering lights illuminate the way when visibility is compromised. To the rear are dark-red tail-lights and an LED light that illuminates the registration plate. Exposed chrome exhaust tailpipes, left and right, complement the chrome highlights found elsewhere on the bodywork. The Golf Alltrack a vehicle for the truly adventurous and the adventurous at heart.

Interior The Golf Alltrack is as luxurious and comfortable inside as it is stylish and durable outside. Quality materials have been used throughout, raising cabin refinement to levels unsurpassed in the Golf Alltrack s class. And a raft of modern conveniences has been introduced that makes the vehicle a pleasure to drive. 01 Take Keyless Access for example. As long as you have your key on you, the doors will unlock just by operating a front door handle. The engine can then be started simply by pressing the start button, the system releases the steering lock and turns on the ignition electronically without you having to insert the key. Once inside, the level of finesse offered by the Golf Alltrack becomes immediately apparent. The leather multi-function steering wheel and gearshift knob are a delight to touch, as are the comfortable and supportive Vienna leather appointed seats*. 02 Design elements, such as Dark Magnesium and Tracks decorative inlays, are attractive points of interest. o too are aluminium-finish pedals and door sill inlays with Alltrack lettering. LED ambient lighting and LED reading lights add a touch of class to the cabin. Of course, any wagon worth its salt needs a large luggage compartment. The Golf Alltrack has an impressive 605 litres of boot space available, making it enormously useful whether on a camping holiday or a trip to the local supermarket. With the rear seats folded down, the capacity becomes an outstanding 1620 litres. The 40/60 split folding rear seats even offer remote unlocking for ease of use. Highlights The Golf Alltrack promises a serene and confidence-inspiring driving experience courtesy of its punchy engine and refined transmission. A new and more powerful 1.8-litre turbocharged TI petrol engine (offering 132kW @ 4500-6200 rpm and 280Nm @ 1350 4500rpm) is capable of propelling the vehicle towards the horizon and is perfectly matched with Volkswagen s sophisticated and sweet-shifting 6-speed Direct hift Gearbox (DG). The addition of BlueMotion Technology forms the basis for more economical driving and lower emissions. The Golf Alltrack has been optimised to tackle even the most challenging terrain. A push of a button activates Offroad Driving Program, which changes the characteristics of the vehicle to suit the demands of off-road driving. It pairs perfectly with Volkswagen s 4MOTION all-wheel-drive system, which provides reliable traction on nearly all surfaces. When traction is compromised, Extended Electronic Differential Lock (XDL) and Electronic tabilisation Program (EP) combine to maximise grip. Inside, the Golf Alltrack impresses with the level of its driver assistance systems as standard.
