4 Exterior The Tiguan makes a bold statement, whichever way you look at it. Its robust and durable exterior reflects its underlying dynamic prowess and wide-ranging ability across several active lifestyle pursuits. At the same time, the Tiguan is a model of contemporary urban refinement, classy and sophisticated enough for city-friendly driving and relaxed highway cruising. 01 Minimalist lines accentuate the Tiguan s dynamic character. A distinctive design line at hip level continues cleverly through the rear wheel arches and wraps around the rear tailgate. Body-coloured bumper bars, door handles and exterior mirrors meld effortlessly with the rest of the car. And all models receive black grain-effect protective trim on the lower front and rear bumpers, side sills and wheel arches. The Tiguan s body contours integrate seamlessly with the elegant bonnet and front, which features a distinctive radiator grille with four striking horizontal chrome bars that lead the eye to the iconic Volkswagen badge. tylish headlights with daytime driving lights are efficient and powerful and complement the front fog lights with static cornering lights mounted in the lower bumper (in all but the 118TI model). 02 Alloy wheels are standard equipment across the range. The 118TI model rides on 16" Portland alloys, while the 130TDI and 132TI models receive larger 17" Philadelphia alloys. 6 Interior The Tiguan will keep you comfortable, no matter the driving environment. Exceptional comfort levels combine with cleverly thought-out design to create a cabin that s cosseting, responsive and functional. Central to driver and passenger enjoyment is Volkswagen s new Composition Media infotainment system (in the 118TI, 132TI and 130TDI models) and Discover Media infotainment system (in the 155TI model).
