Charge mode and warning LI-Po battery(balance changer) ATI-0910 Li-Po battery(balance changer) specifications Specifications: Inputvoltage: DC 10V-15V Output voltage: DC 7.4V & 11.1V (to 2 or 3 cell Li-Po battery) Charging current: 0.3A-1.OA (can be continuously adjusted) 12V DC Power supplier Indicator state: Green: Charge complete & no battery Red: Charging Flash: Drip current charging The batteries are inspected separately. When the voltage reaches 4.20V, the charging process stops. Operating 1. Then plug cigarette into its socket in car (Adapter should be connected if charge at home: connect the adapter to home power socket, then plug the adapter' DC end to charger). The LED will turn green indicating it is ready for charging. 2. Connect the battery to charger per its interface mark. The LED becomes red, which means charging is on the way. 3. Adjust the current among 0.3A-1.0A. In order to prolong battery' life-span, we recommend to charge them u nder low current if you have enough time. 4. When LED flashing, the charger will enter the stage of drip current charging. The LED turns green when fully charged, and the battery will be used at any time. Notice 1. Do not insert anything conductive into the cooling hole when power is on, or damage will be caused to the charger. 2. While charging is in process, please do not make it near flammable materials. 3. It is not allowed to charge two-cell and three-cell Li poly battery at the same time. 4. Expect Li poly battery, this charger is not allowed for other kinds of battery. 5. Do not use the battery nearby the place where generates static electricity (over 64V). 20. Do not charge the battery when the environmental temperature is under 0 C orover45 C. 21. If you find the battery leaking, smelling or abnormal, stop using it and return it to the seller. 22. When the battery is charging, please do not make it near the flammable materials! 23. Keep the battery away from the children. 24. Use the specified charger and observe charging requirement (under 1 A). 25. When using by minors, parents should show them to the correct instruction. Notification for ESC 1. The function of this ESC was in the best condition after factory setting; please do not change it by yourself. 2. Before connecting the battery, please make sure the throttle and Micro-trim were in the lowest position. If the throttle and Micro-trim were not in the lowest position by mistake after connecting the battery, you can cut off the battery; move the throttle and pitch to the lowest position, then connect the battery. 3. The ESC of the airplane was in a good cooling position after factory assembly; please do not move its position. 4. The ESC should be connected to the brushless motor correctly, otherwise the motor will be reversed turning, and the model airplane can not fly correctly. 04
Transmitter particular introduce 4 channel full-scale 2.4GHZ RC device. It have good anti-interference, stability and reliability. It can be used for all ordinary aeroplanes, gliders models, and so on. It has simulator signal interface, low voltage alarm. Transmitter particular introduce (Mode 2) Throttle Max = Rudder 4 Rudder left = T" right Aileron right Throttle Min Trim Charger port Frequency Switch Servo reverse Configured with 2.4G radio control system with a ground distance of 200meters and Air distance of 400 meters. 05
The process of frequency bind for DSSS series 2.4GHz R/C system * Place the transmitter and the receiver close to each other within one (1) meter. Please do not press the frequency bind switch when the Transmitter at work mode, or else your device will not work! 1. plug the short- circuit plug into the Receiver in the position of BATT. Connect the ESC to receiver for electricity supply, which results to the indicator light glitters. 2. Press the frequency bind button, then turn on the transmitter1 s power. 3. the indicator light of the receiver will light, which indicates that the frequency bind is successful. 4. Unplug the short-circuit, the indicator light glitters. 5. Press frequency bind button again to get it rebound. After the indicator light flashes for a few seconds, it turns green, the transmitter get into working mode. 6. The indicator light turns bright again, which means that the radio system can work normally now. 06
Valuable experience 1. If you have a simulator we recommend that you practice with it before you fly your J-3. This will be very helpful for your first flight. 2. Check and make sure all the control surfaces work normally and move towards the right direction before flying. 3. We recommend that you take the model up to a height of around 100m and then cruise at around 1/3 power. This will be helpful for ou to get familiar with the performance. 4. Users should control the airplane gently to reduce the risk of crash, and to prolong the working time of the airplane. 5. The turning radius should not be too tight or the aircraft could become out of control very quickly which could result in an incident that you did not intend. 6. Please make sure to take off into the wind. The beginners had better fly in breeze and up wing area. Trouble shooting Problem Cause Solution Motor does not run No reaction of the control surface Can not fly straight 1. Battery is not fully charged. 2. The battery of transmitter is not sufficient 3. Check the wire connection inside the model 4. The motor do not work due to impact or damage. 5. The frequency binding of the radio system fails 1. The servo cable didn't plug properly or inverted plug. 2.The servo is damaged 1.The rudder is not in the center position of the airframe 2.The main wing is not fixed in the center position of the airframe. 1. Charge the batteries. 2. Install a full charged battery 3. If any problem, please contact your dealer 4. Change a new motor 5. Please do the frequency binding again according to the page 06. 1. Check the connection of the servo cable 2.Change another servo. 1. Adjust the trim switch on the transmitter 2.Re-assembly the main wing Can not climb 1. The battery is not fully charged. 2. Two aileron are biased downward 1. Charger the battery 2. Adjust the inching switch on the Transmitter. Limited control range The batteries are almost flat Install new batteries 08
Inspection and adjustment before flying 1. Switch for power supply: Install 8 cells into the transmitter according to the symbol of battery's polarity, then turn on the transmitter. Install the full charged flight battery into the battery compartment of the fuselage, and connect the plug of battery with the electronic Speed Controller. To make sure the radio control system is working well, you should follow the instruction: turn on the transmitter before flying (connecting the battery with ESC plug); and turn off the power for receiver first when stop operation (pulling out battery and ESC plug), then turn off the transmitter. 2. The right joystick of transmitter controls the aileron by turning left or right: when you push the joystick on the left, the left aileron of plane will turn up and the right aileron of plane will turn down in response to your action, vice versa. Before flying, put the trim of aileron to the middle position, and then adjust the both ailerons to the neutral position with the clevis. 3 The movement of the left joystick in the transmitter controls the power of motor. When holding the fuselage of the plane, please keep other objects away from the propeller in case of hurting people or damaging the propeller. If you push the left joystick in the lowest position, the power of the motor will cease. Now the motor is on standby. You could check the performance of the motor by pushing the joystick up slowly. 4. The up and down of the right joystick of transmitter controls the movement of the elevator. When you push the joystick down, the elevator of plane will be flying up, vice versa. The best state before flying is the elevator, joysticks and trim are all in the neutral position. 5. The left joystick in transmitter control the rudder: when you push the joystick on the right, the rudder of plane will turn right in response to your action, vice versa. Rudder, joystick trim should be in the middle before flying. 6. If the servos and motor give no response during the adjustment, please check the connection of the servos and ESC and make sure the battery is fully charged. 7. Check the CG of the model. The proper CG position should be 75~85mm away from the leading edge, please refer to the picture. If in any doubt contact your dealer. Note: The transmitter and receiver should be used in the same set but not be mixed and used with other products. (Picture for CG)
