Assembly Latch Pin Assembly Instructions: Assemble the spring (5) to the bracket (13) using a 5/16 X 1 carriage bolt (14), lift bar bushing (6), 5/16 washer (4) and 5/16 nut (3). Note the orientation of the spring. Insert the open end of the spring through the small hole of the latch pin (1). Insert the latch pin into the oval hole of the bracket and stretch the spring until the square holes in the bracket line up with the holes in the latch pin. Place a latch pin bushing (9) into the round hole of the latch pin and insert a 5/16 X 1 carriage bolt (14) through the corresponding square hole of the bracket, the round hole of the latch pin and the latch pin bushing. Place a 5/16 washer (4) over the 5/16 X 1 carriage bolt (14) and secure it with a 5/16 nut (3). Note the washer in this step is the smaller of the two used to assemble the latch pin. Complete the assembly by placing the other latch pin bushing (9) into the oval hole of the latch pin and securing it with a 5/16 X 1 carriage bolt (14), the larger 5/16 washer (2) and a 5/16 nut (3). Latch Pin Assembly 5

Assembly Assembly Instructions: Insert the 3/8 X 1¼ bolt (16) through the stop block (15) and the hinge plate as shown and fasten using the 3/8 nut (10). Repeat on the other side. Align the 1 round hole of hinge plate (21) with the large square hole of push plate (26). Insert a 5/8 X 2 carriage bolt (28) through the large washer (27), the push plate and hinge plate. Place the hinge bushing (8) on the 5/8 X 2 carriage bolt (28) and into the 1 hole of the push plate. Loosely attach the latch pin assembly to the hinge plate with the 5/8 nut (7). The nut will be tightened in a later step. Insert two 3/8 X 1¾ carriage bolts (29) through the two square holes in the push plate, placing one guide pin bushing (12) on each. These bushings will need to be positioned between the latch pin assembly and the push plate as shown. Place the other two latch pin bushings (12) over the 3/8 x 1¾ carriage bolts (29) and on top of the latch pin assembly. Place the pin guide (11) over the latch pin bushings (12) on the 3/8 X 1¾ bolts (29) and fasten with two 3/8 nuts (10). Tighten the 5/8 nut (7) securely, checking to make sure that the hinge plate can freely rotate and that the latch pin fits into all holes of the hinge plate. Latch Pin Assembly See Page 5 Insert the plow mount pin (20) through the holes of the push plate as shown, using the click pins (17) to secure it in place. 6

Assembly of Blade to Blade Mount Adaptor: Place the blade mount adaptor assembly against the blade assembly aligning holes A and B. Insert the bellcrank bushing (24) into the hole in the hinge plate and place the ½ X 1½ bolt (25) through the assembly with a ½ washer (23) on each side as shown. Attach the ½ nut (22) and hand tighten. Repeat this step on the other side. After the hardware is loosely assembled, tighten both ½ X 1½ bolts (25). Rotate the blade forward to assure that the blade will pivot freely. Install one loop of the blade spring (19) into the tab on the hinge plate and insert the other end of the spring through the eye bolt (18). Insert the threaded end of the eye bolt through the hole in the upper support plate at the back of the blade frame. Place a 5/16 washer (4) over the eyebolt and secure it with a 5/16 nut (3). Tighten the 5/16 nut (3) until the spring coils begin to spread apart. Repeat on the other side. Note: If the blade flips over too easily, you may want to increase the tension by tightening the eye bolt nuts additional turns. Use caution as this is a safety feature to reduce the stress on the ATV by allowing the blade to cam over an immovable object. Assembly Upper Support Plate Hole B Hole A 7
