mass flowmeter for compressed air VARIOMASS ECO pressure and temperature compensated easy and cost effective installation of the sensor no pressure loss caused by the sensor no moving parts, i.e. maintenance free high turndown ratio and good accuracy

The VARIOMASS ECO system is a compact mass flowmeter for compressed air working according to the thermal dispersion principle for pipe sizes from ½ up to 2 as In-Line meter with complete flow body and for pipe size 2.5 (65 mm) up 20 (500 mm) as an Insertion meter. Compare to the original VARIOMASS flowmeter we do not need a separate electronic with sensor cable so it will reduce the installation cost and also the system price. The microprocessor controlled electronic is within the sensor head enclosure and has a 24 VDC power supply so there is no need for installation of the separate transmitter enclosure. All analog and digital outputs are on the sensor circuit board and via the optional software WIN-ECO and the USB port with a PC the user can readout and change all preset values or can use the PC as a data logger for the flow values data s vs. time. An optional LCD display with 2 x 16 sign can be mounted within the sensor enclosure lid to indicate the actual and total flow values with flow units. The analog outputs (0-20 ma or 4-20 ma) transmit the actual flow values and the optional pulse output (example 1 m³/puls) gives you the total flow value to a pulse counter. SOFTWARE All VARIOMASS ECO units can be used with the Software WIN-ECO and a PC to adjust and readout all settings. The following data s can be read: total air consumption since installation, 2 separate totalizer consumption reset able, date and time, flow range and unit, pipe inside diameter, analog output, maximum flow values, calibration date of the Sensor and so on. The optional RS232 port in combination with the software WIN-ECO can be used as an Online monitoring of the flow values over the time on the PC. These data can be save on the PC and the software WIN-ECO will make a graphic over the time for maximum one day. All graphics can be print out or zoom in or out. WIN-ECO Online graphic: WIN-ECO day graphic: The new WIN-ECO software used the communication via USB output or optional via Bluetooth signal. You can use this software for Online monitoring or setup the unit via a PC with Bluetooth output. On request we can setup the VARIOMASS ECO board with an M-BUS output board for actual and total flow value (the serial number is the M-BUS ID number) or with an optional PROFIBUS DP output. For applications when supplying the power supply of 24 VDC from a SPS and use the ECO 4-20mA output on the same potential we recommend to use the optional galvanic isolation of the input board. If you need to record the line pressure we can supply the ball valve retractable assembly BVR ½ -D with a small pressure transmitter which gives you a 4-20 ma signal for the line pressure of example 0 to 10 bar. This pressure transmitter needs an external 24 VDC power supply.
