CAUTION The frce f deceleratin, especially if a large mass is attached t the carriage, shuld be cnsidered when calculating lads t be carried by the rdless cylinder. A large mass, in cnjunctin with a high deceleratin frce, can cause damage t the cylinder and/r the lss f cntrl f the lad. Either can result in equipment damage and danger t nearby persnnel. High deceleratin frces may ccur, but are nt limited t the initial set-up f a machine. T minimize the ptential danger, the fllwing steps are suggested in additin t nrmal set-up prcedures. A.
