Bsi Module Type PVBZ Teh Note Introdution PVBZ With the introdution of si module PVBZ, Suer-Dnfoss n now supply si modules with integrted pilot operted hek vlves. The PVBZ lod ompensted module is developed for pplitions, where integrted pilot operted hek vlves in the work ports re required to limit the work port lekge down to minimum (elow 1 m 3 [0.06 in 3 ] per minute). The new PVBZ si module n only e mixed with si modules PVB nd PVP pumpside modules mentioned in this Teh Note nd offers the following fetures: Integrted pilot operted hek vlves for low internl lekge Integrted therml relief vlve Stndrd 4/3 spools 4/4 flot spools Interhngele spools PVP with Integrted HPCO Together with the introdution of PVBZ (nd PVB with seprte tnk line T0) Suer-Dnfoss n now lso supply PVG 32 vlves with integrted HPCO funtionlity (High Pressure Crry Over). The HPCO funtion will guide the pump flow not used in the PVG 32 vlve group vi the HPCO port to for exmple diretionl vlve. Bsi Module Type PVBZ Teh Note Funtion Funtion When min spools (15) re in neutrl position, the pilot operted hek vlves (herefter POC) re kept losed y spring plus the work port lod, whih is direted to the spring side of the POC (14) vi smll orifie. If min spool is tuted to hve flow out of the B port, the meter out flow fores the respetive POC vlve to open. At the sme time, pilot pressure is guided vi the min spool to the k side of smll pilot vlve (12) on the A port side. This will ensures, tht the lod pressure ehind the POC is relesed to seprte tnk T0 (20) vi set vlve nd llow the POC to open nd let return flow pss ross the min spool k to tnk. For flot funtion, oth POC re relesed to tnk t the sme time like desried ove. In some pplitions with 3/3 spools nd low lod pressure (eg. Hith pplitions), it is neessry to fore open the POC y pin (17). This pin is tuted y mens of pump pressure on the A portside. Note: PVBZ modules nnot e option mounted (PVM on B - Port side). The seprte tnk onnetion T0 is needed to ensure proper performne of the POC s regrdless of the pressure in min tnk line T. It is therefore nessessry to onnet the T0 port (9) in the Inlet PVP diretly to the oil reservoir with seprte hose. Therml relief vlves (6261, 6262, 6266 6661, 6662 nd 6666) n e integrted to ensure tht unintended high pressure etween POC nd ylinder/motor is not uilt up y mens of externl het soure. The setting of the therminl relief is fixed to 276 r [4003 psi], mx. pity 1 l/min [0.264 US gl/min]. Note: If tnk onnetion T0 is not used, plug (10) must e removed. Pos 10 is not prt of 5132, 5133, 5332 nd 5333 nd therefore T0-port (9) in 5132, 5133, 5332 nd 5333 must lwys e onneted to tnk. PVBZ n only e used in omintion with PVB nd PVP mentioned in this Teh Note. When using PVB, PVBZ nd PVP (5140, 5142, 5340 nd 5342 only) with seprte tnk line T0 it is possile to pressurize the tnk port in PVP hving HPCO funtion. Return flow from A nd B ports of PVG 32 must e guided to tnk vi seprte tnk port in the end plte PVST (2500 nd 2520).
