Effective Tuesday, July 28 Shoring for the 2nd and 3rd set of tree wells is being removed this week and relocating to the far north drive ramp under the 100 building. This is a smaller area so it will open up many more parking spaces. However, due to the location, all garage parkers will need to continue to use the South end garage for entrance and exit. Retail Area Fountain Structure is ready for concrete which is set to pour within a week.
North Point (front of Korshak) The north point signage and landscape on schedule to be complete this week. Retail East Side The Maple Ave side of retail (East side) in front of The Capital Grille is closed for work. This is scheduled to be complete mid-october. All valet parking has been transferred to the west side porte-cochere.
East side motor court work continues. Tree wells continue to be cut in the east side of the motor court. This is on schedule to complete late October.
Effective Tuesday, July 14 All monthly parkers MUST continue to use the south ramp for entering the garage until early September. Please continue to follow signage for building exits. This does not affect visitor parking. There are two options to enter the garage from the south end. 1. At the corner of McKinney Ave and Maple Ave by the entrance in front of the old Arcodoro location. 2. Off Pearl St. just north of McKinney Ave in front of the 200 building. Visitors will continue to enter and exit as normal. To exit the garage, you will need to use the South exit ramp, access to Maple/Pearl St., or follow a new route that will allow you to use the Maple and Cedar Springs exits after 4 p.m. Please follow new exit signage placed throughout the garage for all exit options. We will have staff on-site in the garage to assist parkers. To help with traffic flow, exit gates will be raised in the evenings to avoid congestion.
Retail Area Fountain As planned, structural steel was installed Saturday. Concrete is set to pour in a couple of weeks. North Point (front of Korshak) The construction of the point sign is complete. Sidewalks and drive approach have been poured. Landscape work is ongoing and will be fully complete by the end of July.
Retail West Side The Cedar Springs side of retail (West side) in front of Palomino is scheduled to be complete and opened up to the public Monday, July 20. Fencing will immediately start on the Maple Ave side of retail (East side) in front of The Capital Grille next week. View of Palomino's new wooden deck. New drive area, West side of Stanley Korshak. Retail East Side The Maple Ave side of retail (East side) in front of The Capital Grille will be closed off and work will begin on or around July 20. All valet parking will be transferred to the west side porte-cochere.
Effective Tuesday, June 16 Garage Areas Blocked Off Beginning today, the North drive lane in the 100 building will start to be closed off in order to install additional shoring for more tree wells. These closures will be under the 100 tower starting on G1 and down to G5 by the end of the week. The north/south drive lane between the 100 & 200 building continues to be closed off. Please follow added EXIT signs to make egress easier. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience during this time. This work will take approximately 1 month to complete. Shoring in the Garage Due to the installation of trees wells, extra shoring is being installed in the garage to support the weight of the scaffolding being used on the G1 level. This is done for an extra safety precaution and there is no reason for concern. Each area of shoring is temporary and will be moved approximately every 30 days until complete. East side motor court work continues. Tree wells continue to be cut in the east side of the motor court. Continue to Keep Vehicle Roofs Closed We ask that you keep sunroofs and convertible tops on your vehicle closed during the duration of the waterproofing project going on above the parking garages. This is to avoid any potential dust or moisture that is inherent to construction. Effective Monday, April 6 The North Side of the 100 Building lobby doors will be locked The 100 Building lobby doors will be locked and remained locked during the duration of construction. However, they will unlock automatically in case of an emergency. Please access the Hotel, Gourmet Restaurant and Starbucks via the 200 Building North lobby, west wing door. This will remain closed for approximately 6 months. North Ramps outside Stanley Korshak Remains Closed All Retail parkers will need to enter and exit the Retail garage via Maple Ave. or Cedar Springs. Additional police officers have been added in the afternoon to assist with traffic. Visitor parking remains available in the Retail parking area but only accessible from the Maple Ave. or Cedar Springs entrances. The area outside Palomino, along Cedar Springs, remains under construction. All valet continues to be available at The Capital Grille or Rosewood Crescent Hotel.
