TECEfloor The floor heating program for professionals
2 TECEfloor SLQ everything thought through, everything tested, everything fits!
TECEfloor complete system TECEfloor, the new floor heating system from TECE When it comes to floor heating, TECE has long been a specialist: In the 1980s, the company launched the first diffusion-tight composite aluminium pipes on the market. The TECEfloor range is therefore the result of decades of experience in the area of floor heating. 100 % compatibility and tested safety from TECE What's so special about the TECEfloor floor heating range: Pipes and connectors are constantly tested in the TECE material laboratory and their quality is regularly monitored by independent institutes. This guarantees the absolute reliability of our pipe systems. TECEfloor is a complete system it offers everything needed for professional laying: Heating pipes, manifolds, controls and laying accessories. SLQ standard for parts that transfer water and that provide functions The tight production tolerances of the heating pipes in TECEfloor are perfectly tailored to the support and clamping ring of the clamped joint. The O-ring of the clamped joint provides accurately dimensioned sealing in the manifold's Eurocone. In the servomotor, not only the union nut but also the lifting and closing dimensions are adjusted to match the valve insert of the manifold. Even tacking pins are regularly frozen at -10 C to test their suitability for the winter. There s one goal to it all: Maximum reliability in the system. 3
TECEfloor pipe system TECEfloor-floor heating always the right pipe... In its own production facilities, TECE manufactures composite and plastic pipes for domestic installation on state-of-the-art machinery. The heating pipes are offered in dimensions 14 x 2 mm, 16 x 2 mm, 17 x 2 mm and 20 x 2 mm in a variety of material qualities. 3V353 PE-RT 3V355 PE-Xc In addition to electron beam cross-linked PE-Xc pipes, TECEfloor offers other pipe types: TECEfloor heating pipe MDXc 5 S The medium-density cross-linked polyethylene pipe has a five-layer structure and is particularly insensitive to external damage such as score marks and scratches. Its excellent flexibility makes it easier to lay. All in all the ideal pipe for panel heating and cooling. TECEfloor heating pipe PE-RT type II Compared to type I pipes, it offers far better temperature and pressure resistance and in this respect is qualitatively equivalent to a PE-Xc pipe. 4
TECEfloor manifold and expansion technology The manifold range includes stainless steel and plastic manifolds as well as manifold housings in different sizes. The two-way and three-way plastic manifolds from TECE can be easily connected with just two rotations and can be combined with each other as desired up to a 12-way manifold. This makes storage easier and provides greater flexibility on the construction site: If an additional heating circuit is required, two two-way modules, rather than one three-way module, are simply used. All manifolds undergo a 100 % functional and tightness test in production. TECEfloor can now be pressed as well as screwed down. For the TECEfloor all-plastic pipes, there is now the certified, O-ring free system coupling with expansion technology. The advantage: Optimum flow properties coupled with maximum connection reliability. The system can be processed with simple manual tools. 5
TECEfloor-floor heating laying the right solution. Mounting systems/system panels From basic dimpled sheets or back-foamed dimpled sheets with thermal and sound insulation through to tacking sheets and backerboards, TECEfloor offers the required mounting system for every application scenario. The dimpled sheet is available in three insulation versions. The 6-cm grid is particularly suitable for heating pump systems (RA 120 or RA 180). The dimple structure enables pipes to be laid easily, even in the bends. Suitable for pipe dimensions 14, 16 and 17 mm. 6
TECEfloor laying TECEfloor screed accessories TECEfloor offers everything needed for correct laying. Joint compensation elements, expansion joint profiles or edge insulation strips: The TECEfloor screed accessories are highly practical. Standard tacking pin Extra-wide tacking pin T 8 extra TECEfloor tacking pins Thanks to its special anchoring technique, the extrawide TECE tacking pin T 8 extra provides optimum hold for heating pipes, particularly in tacking sheets with woven film. The associated insertion tool operates reliably and smoothly. Many of our customers swear by the tacking pins and insertion tool. 7
TECEfloor manifolds for push-fitting Calibrate, push-fit and the connection is ready! 8
TECEfloor manifolds The new generation of TECEfloor manifolds uses the tried-and-tested TECElogo push-fitting system and is a practical alternative to manifolds with the conventional clamping ring connections: n No annoying handling with the open-jaw wrench n No pipe distortion, twist-free fitting of the connection n No insertion depth mistakes can be made n With a special key, the push-fitting connection can be subsequently undone and the fitting can be used again In addition to easy assembly through push-fitting, the manifold offers technical advantages: n Manifold with large chamber volume n Sound-insulated plastic retainer with quick-assembly function union nut 1 flat-sealing n Integrated return valves with double O-ring seal on valve tappet n Valve disk with O-ring seal for the permanently reliable closing of the heating circuits n Flow metre with shut-off 0.5-4 litres with locking in accordance with DIN EN 1264-4 n The viewing glass can be replaced even under system pressure n SLQ quality-monitored and tested for compatibility every manifold is tested for tightness and functioning. TECEfloor manifold logo it couldn't be easier! The new stainless steel manifold from TECE uses premounted push-fittings. This makes connection of the pipes much easier. In addition to a twist-free connection technology that also prevents the pipes from being pulled out, the new stainless steel manifold provides a large chamber volume and therefore low pressure loss in the manifold system. If subsequent repairs are necessary, the printed QS code makes it easy to order spare parts, even after many years of operation (fig. right). 9

Tested quality safety made by TECE. As a manufacturer of complex pipe and connection systems, TECE has its own recognised testing laboratory with several temperature change test machines, creep test containers and other testing equipment. For TECEfloor alone, more than 150 clamped joints with all pipe types are tested in a 5,000-cycle temperature change test. Typical sources of faults, such as those that arise as a result of incompatibility caused by purchasing a range of different individual parts, can therefore be eliminated reliably from the outset.
