BRT Lanes will Run in the Central Median Portion Door will be on the Right side of Vehicles (Station will be on the center of Road) Pedestrian Stairs/Ramps will be Provided for access from Footpath to Station 3 Buses will be passed in 1 minute interval Peak Hour Capacity is 13,000 Passengers per Hour per Direction Priority will be given to BRT at Signalized intersection through Intelligent Signal System

Topographic Survey for both corridors has been done Traffic Count Survey has been done on All Major Intersections along the both Corrdiors Social and Environmental Surveys has also conducted along both corridors

BRT Alignment, Cross Sections, Station design and location of stations has been finalized BRT Plan/Design was presented in Workshop to concerned Departments and Consultants and their comments has been noted to incorporate Legal Consultant has been hired by JICA study team to develop the Legal Frame work for Institutional setup and Implementation Plan

200 buses will be required for each corridor Standard Depot. Area for 200 buses is 45,000 sq. meter (12 Acre) Compacted Depot. Design possible in 30,000 sq. meter (8 Acre)

Depot. For Green Line is already identified with the help of Master Plan Department, KMC Search for Depot. on Red Line is in Progress & it seems to be difficult to findout 8 Acre Plot near to Safoora Chowk to Model Model Colony If Depot. Will not be Available BRT will not be possible

KMTC has also planned 2 High Demand Bus Routes which will help in developing the culture of Public Transport Implementation of these routes will be on PPP mode, Government has to provide subsidy to Route Operators to Succeed these Routes Each Route will serve 50,000 passengers per day 50 buses are Required for Each route
