Introduction Chapter 1 This chapter will give you a brief introduction to the kits, the required kit components and a system layout of the connections. Chapter Contents About this Kit 1-2 Kit Components 1-2 Installation Overview 1-3 Safety Guidelines 1-3 AGA3847 Rev 1.4 1-1

About this Kit This kit is used to install the System 150 AGI-3 Auto-Steering system into AGCO DT200B, Challenger MT600C, MF 8600 and Valtra S series tractors. This kit is only suitable for tractors that are factory fitted Auto-Guide (AG) ready. Once fitted, you will be able to perform Auto-Steering from your System 150 console. This kit can only be used for installations on the following tractors: AGCO DT205B, 225B, 250B, 275B, 300B MF8650, 8660, 8670, 8680, 8690 Challenger MT645C, 655C, 665C, 675C, 685C Valtra S232, 262, 292, 322, 352 The PVED-CL must have firmware 1.35 installed. Contact your authorized AGCO dealer to reprogram and set the valve with the latest firmware and parameters before operating the System 150. Kit Components You will need the following harnesses in order to perform this installation. The following items can be found in your AGA3858 System 150 to suit AGCO DT200B, Challenger MT600C, MF8600 and Valtra S series Auto-Steering kits. Part Number AGA3836 AGA3859 AGA4255 Description AGCO DT200B, CHALLENGER MT600C, MF8600 AND VALTRA S SERIES CAB HARNESS 55-72571376 HARNESS, AGI-3 ROOF POWER ADAPTER LRT TRACTOR 1-2 www.topconpa.com

Installation Overview The installation of the AGI-3 auto-steer system is divided into 3 main parts: 1. 2. 3. Installing the AGI-3 Antenna Connecting System 150 Steer Interface Harness Connecting Power Harness The installation of the AGA3858 kit will take approximately 2 hours. By following the instructions in this manual, you should be able to perform a successful fit-up of your autosteering system. Safety Guidelines Do not perform the installation while the tractor is running. Ensure that the tractor has been turned off and has been left to cool down before performing the installation. Do not perform the installation alone. Ensure there is someone with you at all times to both assist you and also to obtain help should any injuries occur during the installation. The installation involves climbing on and under the tractor, so ensure that you are wearing the appropriate attire and footwear. Covered shoes with good traction are a must. To protect yourself from cuts, scrapes, dirt and dust, wear clothing that covers your arms and legs completely. It is very important that the harnesses are positioned neatly, securely and safely away from anything that may pinch, crush, melt, cut or damage the harness in any way. Inside the cabin, attempt to route the harness along the edge either on the floor, along a bar or within the wall of the cabin. This keeps the harness out of the way during normal operations and avoids accidentally tripping over or pulling the harness. Outside the cabin, ensure that none of the harnesses are loose and that they do not sway or swing around when the tractor is in motion. Damage on harnesses outside the cabin mainly occurs due to getting crushed between moving parts or melted when routed over surfaces that get very hot during tractor operations. Because of this, it is important that you follow the installation guidelines and associated warnings particularly when routing the harness outside the cabin. It is recommended that the power connector only be attached at the end of the installation to prevent any risk of electrocution during the installation. AGA3847 Rev 1.4 1-3
