Guth modulating valves The sophisticated solution
VSR-modulating valves with diaphragm actuator Modulating valves are used in process technology to control process parameters such as temperature, pressure or flow, of liquid and gaseous media. Through close cooperation of the development and process engineers at Guth Ventiltechnik the modulating valve series VSR was developed, which meets the product-specific hygienic requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industry. Custom products for our customers Modular concept offering multiple combinations of actuators, control cones and housings for process and cost optimization Complete construction from solid stainless steel Solid valve body made from block material, diaphragm actuator stainless steel optional electro-polished, robust lantern design, positioners with stainless steel cover Precise valve position control DigiPos Digital I/P positioner from Guth as standard, lantern with NAMUR interface (DIN/IEC 534-6) for the integration of other types of controllers Hygienic design Spherical housing for streamlined product flow Valve seat insert and housing insert which are flush with the inside wall ensure complete draining of the valve body No product loss or contamination due to entrainment of CIP liquid residues Easy installation and maintenance Free choice of orientation of the ports, easy maintenance as complete valve insert can be removed topside from valve housing, reversible actuators to change the safety position Various modulating characteristics Replaceable cone and seats for the integration/modification of different Kvs/cv values with linear or equal percentage modulating characteristics, regulating cone design metallic- or elastomer-sealed Special solutions Miniature housings for DN 10-25 tubes (½ -1 ) for control of smallest quantities of Kvs 0.1 High pressure resistance of up to 40 bar for valves up to DN 40 (1½ ) 2
VSR-control valves with piston actuator Cleanable hygienic valve with water-tight encapsulation of the stainless steel actuator Compact slim dimensions/hygienic Design No external movable parts, thus improved accident prevention The spindle is sealed with elastic sealing elements, leakage hole indicates when to replace the product-side sealing elements Aseptic control valves With the growing requirement for modulating valve in aseptic processes, Guth offers the metal bellows and diaphragm models in two solutions for the VSR series that meet the requirements of sterile production. Contamination that may result from the spindle stroke movement is excluded by the hermetically sealing of the product chamber. As an option, a diaphragm version is available, which is designed according to the positive characteristics of classic valve diaphragms. The result is a Combination of an elastomer diaphragm backing and TFM 1705 shield, resulting in longevity as confirmed during long term switching experiments. VSR-aseptic valve with diaphragm seal: hermetically sealed product chamber Modulating valves with quarter turn actuator Butterfly modulating valves Inexpensive solution for simple control tasks such as level control of vessels Arc modulating valves Valve housing with a unrestricted cross section, therefore the minimized pressure drop when the valve is fully opened 3
