Disassembly
Disassembly 1 / 2 1 2 3 Insert the removal tools into the slots on each side of the radio. Unclip, pull and lift the radio disconnecting the antenna connector. 4 Using the plastic trim tools, unclip the centre console storage compartment. Using the plastic trim tools, unclip and remove the centre console panel. 5 6 1 2 Remove the rubber caps on the top of the glove box. Remove screws 1 and 2 under the covers.
Disassembly 2 / 2 7 8 Using the plastic trim tools, unclip the top of the glove box. (Do not remove it.) Using the plastic trim tools, unclip the clip located on the left side of the dashboard. 9 10 Release the top of the fuse box cover, then place it on the ground. (Do not disconnect it.) 11 Remove the door seal on the driver s side. Using the plastic trim tools, unclip and disconnect the cabin light.

Feeding the accessory cable 1 2! Pass the cable through the air vent towards the radio housing. Clip the glove box back on, making sure that you DO NOT cut the cable, leaving sufficient length. 3 Replace screws 1 and 2 and put the rubber caps back on top.
Fitting the hands-free system 1 / 2 1 Connect the adaptor (86165/9706AP for the CK or the 84744/9706AT for the Mki) to the original connector. Connect all of the wires to the blue box as shown in the diagram below. Test before reinstalling then slide the assembly into the bottom housing of the central console. (Located under the storage compartment.) ISO adapter
Fitting the hands-free system 2 / 2 2 3 Remove the card holder cover on the centre console panel from the back by unclipping it. Make a notch on the top using a knife or a file. 4 5! Feed the cable into the notch and clip the card holder back in towards the radio housing. (Make sure that you DO NOT cut the cable.) Then stick the support provided onto the panel after cleaning the surface, just above the air 12 conditioning adjustment hole.
Testing Before refitting the system, switch the kit on using the ignition (or by starting the car). By pushing the central knob of the remote control, check: 1 - That the menu is displayed on the screen. (Language or ipod.) 2 - That the system can be muted. (Click in the blue box.) 3 - That there is no sound coming from the speakers. 4 - That the sound from the voice menu is coming out of the front speakers. 5 - Then turn off the ignition, check that the kit switches off and that the "goodbye" message appears on the screen. (If this fails, reverse the fuses on the kit's wiring harness.) 6 - Pair a telephone with the kit to make a call. (Check that both the microphone and the kit are working.)
Reassembly Refit the system using the following procedure: 1 Re-mount the central console cover. 2 - Replace the storage compartment. 3 Re-install the radio reconnecting the adaptor and the antenna. 4 Re-fit the fuse box cover by pushing hard. 5 Re-fit the panel on the left-hand side of the dashboard. 6 - Clip the cabin light back in.
