Rest to Angle Range Width Lumbar Support Range Pan Angle Overall Width Distance between the floor and where the user s thigh meets the seat. Depth Distance from the rear to the front edge of the seat. Width Width of the chair seat at the narrowest point. Caper Chairs 10 Multipurpose Chair Description WC111 WC121 This multipurpose chair has a molded, flexible back that is perforated and contoured. It has a biomechanical tilt mechanism that synchronizes the movement of the chair's seat and back, pneumatic seat-height adjustment, and 5-star base with casters. The chair has 2 seat options: the molded seat is perforated and contoured; the FLEXNET seat is suspension material. It is available with or without arms. All chairs meet CAL 133 requirements. The multipurpose chair is breathable and distributes the user's weight evenly. Each chair is lightweight and mobile and has a cutout in the back for easy movement. Construction and Molded The back and molded seat shall be injection-molded, glass-filled, textured, integral-color nylon. attaches to frame with lock fit between arm plug or arm support. The frame shall be made of 7/8 diameter tubular steel, and finished with a powder-coat paint. has molded-in handhold to assist user in moving or stacking of chair. FLEXNET The FLEXNET seat shall consist of an injection-molded, glass-filled polypropylene frame with locking pins to which the durable, breathable FLEXNET material (69% elastomer and 31% polyester) is attached. The approximate seat height range shall be 16 to 21 ½. Tilt The bio-mechanical, synchronous tilt mechanism shall be comprised of a 2 3/8 coiled steel compression spring, a gear-driven tension adjustment and a die-cast aluminum housing finished in powder-coat epoxy to match base. The tilt-tension adjustment lever shall extend from the right side of the tilt and shall be steel, with a powder-coat epoxy finish. A textured, molded tilt-tension knob shall be pressed onto the lever. The tilt shall allow the user s body to recline to support a range of postures, pivoting at the ankles, knees and hips. The back-to-seat ration shall be 2:1 when the chair is reclined from a neutral angle. The chair will have a total reward recline of 16 degrees.
