INSTALLATION Mount the bottle holder on wall using the 4 screws provided through the plates in the rear of the holder. The injector is threaded for " pipe. If connecting the inlet to a water hose, use a pipe to garden hose adapter (Dema part #34-1). Water temperature should not exceed 150 o F and pressure should not exceed 125 PSI. Connect spray gun to injector with high pressure garden hose. (Dema Part #44-3 is 25' of " hose). Total hose length must not exceed 50 ft. of " hose or 100 ft. of 5/8" ID hose. Run the hose through the bracket at center of lower plate before attaching to the injector outlet to keep the hose clear of bottles. The bottle holder will hold sizes up to 5 liters (1-1/3 gallons) capacity. Drop the plastic tubing with a ceramic weight and foot strainer into each bottle as it is being placed into the holder. 3. OPERATION With the water turned on and spray gun lever (See Fig. 1) squeezed to the full open position, the detergent or sanitizer will be drawn into the water stream. When the lever is released to rest in the latched position, no detergent will be drawn into the water stream, thus providing a clear rinse. To shut off the water, pull the short latch in and release. Use the ball valves (See Fig. 2) to select the chemical to be fed. The valve is in the closed position when the handle points downward, and is open when in a horizontal position. 4. ADJUSTMENT WARNING: USE CARE WHEN HANDLING HAZARDOUS CHEMICALS. MODEL: 241CDF Turn the small recessed screw on each injector knob (See Fig. 2) to set the injection rate. Adjust each injector separately, making sure the other injector ball valve is in the closed position during the adjustment procedure. Four turns counterclockwise provides the maximum. Table 1 shows the maximum proportions in ounces per gallon of water obtainable for various chemical viscosities. MODEL: 241CDFT Pressing a color coded metering tip into the barbed end of each ball valve will control the chemical injection (See Fig. 2). Of " ID hose. 5. SERVICING CAUTION: TURN OFF WATER SUPPLY BEFORE SERVICING. A. If unit fails to operate. 1. Check Fig. 1 for proper latch positions. Use only Dema spray gun Part #40-8B or 40-10B. 2. Is the hose too long? Do not exceed 50 ft. of " ID hose or 100 ft. of 5/8" ID hose. 3. Is the check valve clogged? Remove 4 knob screws to disassemble. Inspect and clean ball, spring and o-ring. CAUTION: WHEN SERVICING UNIT BE SURE THAT REPLACEMENT PARTS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED ACCORDING TO DRAWING. BE CERTAIN TO CHECK VALVE PARTS ARE IN PLACE. I-134 Pg. 2 of 5

DEMA products are warranted against defective material and workmanship under normal use and service for one year from the date of manufacture. This limited warranty does not apply to any products which have a normal life shorter than one year or failure and damage caused by chemicals, corrosion, improper voltage supply, physical abuse, or misapplication. Rubber and synthetic rubber parts such as o - rings, diaphragms, squeeze tubing and gaskets are considered expendable and are not covered under warranty. This warranty is extended only to the original buyer of DEMA products. If products are altered or repaired without prior approval of DEMA, this warranty will be void. Defective units or parts should be returned to the factory with transportation prepaid. If inspection shows them to be defective, they will be repaired or replaced without charge, F.O.B. factory.
