Rancho Auto Auction General Overview Founded in July, 1994, Rancho Auto Auction, LLC.(RAA), is a California Limited Liability Company licensed to operate a wholesale salvage pool in Rancho Cordova, CA.. RAA specializes in selling salvaged and clear titled vehicles to dealers, dismantlers, and automotive repair businesses. Rancho Auto Auction is a service oriented business that prides itself in offering the highest level of service to both its Vendors and the bidders who bid on vehicles at our BI-weekly auctions. All bidders are treated with respect and given 100% of the attention needed to allow them to understand the bidding process. RAA s staff is always on hand to answer any questions that a bidder might have about certain vehicles. Bidders at RAA are never left with an unanswered question on policy, procedure, or vehicle information. Why is this important to you, the Vendor? At RAA, we know that bidders who enjoy the entire bidding process and are treated with respect will return again and again to bid our sales and will take their time bidding and inspecting each vehicle resulting in a higher net return per vehicle. Vendors visiting or contacting RAA are treated with the same courtesy, professionalism, and helpful attitude that is given to bidders. It is of the highest priority to RAA s staff to make sure the needs of all our Vendors are met. If any information on any Vendor vehicle is needed, Vendors can rest assured that a member of our staff will make sure that it is retrieved, either from the vehicle, or from our computerized database, SNaps, in a timely manner. At RAA, we know that even a small piece of information can be of the utmost importance. It is with that in mind that we will stop at nothing to ensure that all your needs are met.
Facilities Rancho Auto Auction operates its auctions on 12 acres in the heart of one of the largest and most concentrated dismantling areas in the country. With our BidCentral Bidding Module, bidders have multiple bidding choices. They may pre-bid using a proxy bid, or they may bid the vehicles live at our facility with our professional auctioneers, or they may bid live via the internet right alongside our onsite bidders. We want to make the buying process easy for our buyers, and WE DO! RAA s current operations center was built specifically to allow RAA to operate a salvage pool that services our bidders and Vendors in the best way possible. With this facility designed for maximum efficiency, we re sure you ll be pleased with how your vehicles are handled. Adjacent to our main facility is our Vendor Inspection and Training Center. This brand new indoor facility is available to our Vendors upon request for vehicle inspections and training classes at NO CHARGE. This area, designated solely for use by our vendors, offers a vehicle lift, work tables, and internet access to help adjusters or training personnel complete their work faster and in a safe, clean environment. BidCentral To Maintain the highest returns in the industry, Rancho Auto Auction uses the proprietary product, BidCentral. With BidCentral, we are able to ensure that every vehicle brought to our facility is auctioned and the best possible return is maintained. Our bidders our given a simple 1-2-3 system to place their bids on our vendors vehicles. 1. They may pre-bid with a proxy bid up until one hour before the auction and BidCentral will bid on their behalf until their maximum bid is exceeded. 2. They may come to our facility on auction day and bid the sale live with our staff of professional auctioneers. 3. Or, they may bid LIVE via the internet right along with our onsite bidders. When doing this, these bidders see every bid placed by local bidders and hear live audio of the auctioneer. With our simple 1-2-3 system above, you can be sure that if one of our buyers is interested in one of your vehicles, they will be bidding on it for sure! To help ensure constant vehicle information tracking, RAA maintains a real-time web-based database so our Vendors can track their inventory 24/7. Via our website, our Vendors can dispatch vehicles to our facility, view their entire inventory, receive a breakdown of advance charges, view pictures of individual vehicles, and check on the status of vehicle payments. Vehicle Sales Programs Rancho Auto Auction offers a variety of different programs for our Vendors. Each program is designed to maximize the return on every vehicle while maintaining a level of service unprecedented in the salvage pool industry. Just as each Vendor s needs and type of vehicles differ, so does RAA s sales programs. Ask us about a program that works for your company! Simple Vehicle Consignment Program RAA s Simple Vehicle Consignment Program is just that; SIMPLE. Vehicles are stored at our facility until the title is cleared and then sold at auction to the highest bidder for one low fee. Program maintenance is simple and the returns, as with all of our programs are superior! For Vendors who do not want to spend time negotiating vehicles on an almost daily basis, this program is ideal. Vehicle Purchase Program In the Vehicle Purchase Program, RAA contracts to outright purchase vehicles from the Vendor for an agreed upon percentage of Actual Cash Value (ACV), Kelly Blue Book (KBB) or another agreed upon value. In any purchase contract, RAA assumes the entire cost of transporting, preparing, and selling the vehicles. With this program, a Vendor can have a better idea of their future returns based upon their past history, while RAA takes the burden of risk. Consignment Percentage Program With our Consignment Percentage Program, RAA has a stake in the sales price of a vehicle. These programs include towing, title processing, vehicle washing, locksmith charges, and auction fees for a percentage of the gross sales fee. This program truly makes RAA and the Vendor partners on the vehicles sold at auction ensuring outstanding returns. Custom Programs RAA will be happy to sit down and design a program that meets a Vendor s needs while addressing any areas of concern for that company. RAA will make sure the program you have asked for is the best possible program for you company.
