Treasurer s Report Diane Brandt gave the treasurer s report and gave a balance of $925.47. A motion to accept the treasurer s report was made by Donna Renton and seconded by Chip Weyeneth. The motion passed with a majority show of hands Former President Tim Brandt thanked his fellow officers Mike Niefert, Diane Brandt, and Diane Jones for supporting him during the past two years he serviced as President. Editor s note: I would also like to thank Paul Jones for the great job he does keeping up the MCCC website. Old Business Club hats and shirts are available. Contact Colleen Niefert if interested 734-676-1522. New Business Tim Brandt brought up the question about past Presidents receiving lifetime membership. According to the By-Laws: Past Presidents, after serving a full term, may be awarded lifetime membership to the Motor City Cushman Club upon approval by the membership. Awarding will take place at the November election meeting. Past Presidents will make up the executive board. Any members not in good standing or in arrears of payment of dues shall not vote. Membership: All members of the Motor City Cushman Club are required to pay the annual dues as approved and regulated by the voting membership. Therefore, Past Presidents must pay dues, unless it is voted on and passed, or unless the club votes and passes to abstain them. Diane Brandt asked to have her email address on the newsletter. Paul Jones did explain that it is as written and should have been updated. Diane Jones needs her address updated also. It was asked that a new membership roster be updated. Tim Brandt brought to everyone s attention that Al Cobb had a new club sign made for us. It s white with red letters and made of heavy duty vinyl. He paid $30.00 for it and has donated it to the club. A big thank you goes out to Al Cobb. The club began discussion of rides and events for the 2015 2016 year. The meeting was paused to eat lunch at 2:15 P.M. and the meeting was resumed at 2:51 P.M. The Schedule of Events for 2015 2016 was finished and motion was made by Ray Hilliker to accept it.
