To award the 2017 Street Seal Coating Program #17-04 to Fahrner Asphalt Sealers, LLC out of Plover, WI in the amount not to exceed $251,608.20. 3. To award the 2017 Sanitary Sewer Lining Project #17-10 to Visu-Sewer, Inc. out of Pewaukee, WI in the amount not to exceed $216,656.55. 4. To accept the Ordinance Amendments for permanent permit parking in Municipal Parking Lot #12 and proposed stop sign on Maria Drive. 5. Engineering Division Signals at Church Street and CenterPoint Drive Last month the Board approved the replacement of the cabinet at this intersection. The cabinet and other materials have been ordered and work will commence on replacement later this spring. The new equipment will include the ability to detect bicycles on Church approaching CenterPoint. Sidewalk project filling the gaps This small sidewalk project was discussed last month. This project is currently being designed. Discussion on this project will take place at a public informational meeting that will be held April 25 th at 6:30 PM at Washington Elementary. Swale Project The Public Utility Department will be reinstating swales in the neighborhood roughly bound by Jordan Lane, Wilshire Blvd., Green Avenue and Hein Park. The Public Utility Department has worked with Alderperson Dugan to coordinate a public informational meeting on April 26 th at 6:30Pm at Washington Elementary. This project will greatly benefit the DNR permit for the Stormwater Utility. Hoover Grade Separation Project: Work on this project has commenced and the project is currently on schedule. As expected, the current work is taking place on the north side of the rail crossing. Parking Kiosk Installation Engineering staff is working on procurement efforts for the parking kiosks that will be placed in the vicinity of UWSP and downtown. The first phase of this project should be under way this summer. Business 51 Project: Nothing to report at this time. 2 stevenspoint.com

Prentice/Maria Reconstruction Project: This project will be bid at 11:00 A.M. on April 11 th and awarded at a special Board of Public Works meeting prior to the regular meeting of the Common Council in April. Stanley Street Lane Conversion Discussion: Nothing to report at this time. Additional Ongoing Director\City Engineer\City Surveyor Projects: o The Engineering Department continues to work on preparing for 2017 projects and looking ahead at future work. 2. Streets Division Street work o Continued Garbage and Recycling operations. o Sign work continued. o Street lamp maintenance continued. o Building maintenance and repair. o Patching Continued o Continued Snow and Ice Control Operations Equipment maintenance/garage o There were a total of 151 repair orders completed in the month of March. When broken down by department there were; Engineering 3 Inspection 0 Police 14 Parks 19 Fire 3 Streets 110 Water/Waste water 2 Signs, posts, barricades, and flags o 123 signs were replaced or added, 1 because of an accident, 112 were replaced, 7 for usual maintenance, 1 was moved and 2 because of vandalism. o 70 poles were replaced or added, 3 because of accidents, 5 were replaced and 62 for usual maintenance. o Installed new street light arm in cul-de-sac. o Repaired, replaced and installed traffic signals. Garbage/recycling/yard waste/drop-off o Garbage and recycling carts repaired/replaced/distributed as needed. o Regular solid waste collection completed. o Regular recycling collection completed. o City drop-off operations were completed. ORDINANCE AMENDING THE REVISED MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF STEVENS POINT, WISCONSIN The Common Council of the City of Stevens Point do ordain as follows: SECTION I: That subsection (2)(d)1 of Section 8.09 of the Revised Municipal Code, Municipal Parking Lots is hereby amended to read as follows: 8.09 (2)(d)1. All lots, between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. of any day, except lot 12 and lot 14. SECTION II: That subsection 3e of Section 9.05(aa) of the Revised Municipal Code, Permit Parking is hereby amended to read as follows: 9.05(aa) 3e. Forty-three designated spaces on the south side of Municipal Parking Lot No. 12 adjacent to Clark Street. SECTION III: That subsection 812 of Section 9.06(a) of the Revised Municipal Code, Stop Signs is hereby created to read as follows: 9.06(a) 812. For southbound traffic on First Street before entering the intersection with Maria Drive.
