This product should be installed only by a licensed contractor and/or a licensed electrician and in accordance with all applicable state, local and national electrical codes and standards.

Before Installation INSTRUCTIONS PERTAINING TO THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK Read all the instructions before using this product. This device should be supervised when used around children. Do not put fingers into the electric vehicle connector. Do not use this product if the flexible power cord or EV cable are frayed, have broken insulation, or any other signs of damage. Do not use this product if the enclosure or the EV connector is broken, cracked, open, or shows any other indication of damage. A device employing pressure terminal connectors for field wiring connections shall be provided with instructions specifying a range of values or a nominal value of tightening torque to be applied to the clamping screws of the terminal connectors. Only for hardwired unit: CAUTION To reduce the risk of fire, connect only to a circuit provided with below amperes maximum branch circuit overcurrent protection in accordance with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70. Safety Check CAUTION! DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER PRIOR TO INSTALLING THE ELUMINOCITY GRIDCHARGE. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY CAUSE PHYSICAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM AND CHARGING UNIT. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. The eluminocity GridCharge shall be installed only by a licensed contractor, and/or a licensed electrician in accordance with all applicable state, local and national electrical codes and standards. Before installing this product, ensure compliance with local building practices, climate conditions, safety standards, and state and local codes. Use appropriate protection when connecting to the main power distribution cable. WARNING: Danger of electrical shock or injury. Turn OFF power at the panelboard or load center before working inside the equipment or removing any component. Do not remove Grounding Instructions The eluminocity GridCharge must be connected to a grounded, metal, permanent wiring system; or an equipment grounding conductor must be run with the circuit conductors and connected to the equipment grounding terminal or lead on the product. Recommended Tools The following tools are recommended for eluminocity GridCharge installation: Vendor-supplied accessories and components: Mounting bracket Cable hanger bracket (optional) Torx T30 bolts (x2) for securing the AC Charger to the mounting bracket 1/4 inch expansion bolts (x3) No. 8 wood screws (x3) Installer-supplied components: Conduit of appropriate trade size for power wire NEMA 6-50P receptacle Electrical box and wallplate Recommended tools: Torx T30 screw driver Torx T20 screw driver Phillips #2 screw driver Flathead slotted #5 screw driver Terminal crimper Stud finder Level

INSTALLING THE eluminocity GridCharge 1. Use the supplied template to drill bolt holes in the wall for the mounting bracket and the optional cable hanger. 4. Secure the mounting bracket and the optional cable hanger bracket to the wall with appropriate bolts as follows: For masonry walls use 1/4 expansion bolts and torque to 78 lb in (8.8 N m). For finished walls supported by wood studs use #8 wood screws of 2 or above screw length and torque to 26 lb in (3 N m). Note: Follow applicable accessibility requirements for the mounting position. The unit shall be mounted at a sufficient height from grade such that the height of the storage means is located between 600 mm (24 inches) and 1.2 m (4 feet) from grade per NEC Article 625. 2. Secure the mounting bracket and the optional cable hanger bracket to the wall with appropriate bolts as follows: For masonry walls use 1/4 expansion bolts and torque to 78 lb in (8.8 N m). For finished walls supported by wood studs use #8 wood screws of 2 or above screw length and torque to 26 lb in (3 N m). 5. Remove the screw located at the bottom of the front cover. 6. Hold the front cover. Flip upward and then shift leftward to separate the front cover from the charger. 3. Align the screw holes of the mounting bracket with the eluminosity GridCharge. Install and secure the eluminosity GridCharge on the mounting bracket with the two (2) Torx T30 screws supplied. Torque to 13 lb in (1.5 N m). 7. Remove the compartment cover.

8. Use appropriate copper wire with listed pressure terminal connectors, such as conductor before attachment to the terminal blocks. Keep enough length of wire to facilitate installation. Connect each terminal to the correct terminal input block connector in the compartment and torque to 19 lb in (2.2 N m). Note: Model Copper wire type CH-21140 No. 6 AWG, 90 ºC CH-21130 No. 8 AWG, 75 ºC or 90 ºC Note: Choose appropriate conduit in accordance with all applicable state, local and national electrical codes and standards. 9. Replace the compartment cover and torque to 8.7 lb in (1.0 N m). 10. Replace the front cover by aligning the hinge on the top. Secure the front cover by the bottom screw, torque to 10.4 lb in (1.2 N m). 11. Place the charger cable properly. To view an introduction installation video, visit www.gridcharge.io

EVSE Product Warranty (2016) For products sold by eluminocity US, Inc. 80 Pine Street, 24th Floor, New York, NY 10005, hereinafter referred to as eluminocity, Factory Warranty is as follows: 3 years on Level II EVSE 1 year on Level III EVSE 1 year on accessories Scope: United States/Canada/Mexico Warranty Period: The warranty period will be for 36 months for Level II EVSE and 12 months for DCFC and for accessories such as brackets and pedestals from the date of the invoice or the date of the shipment, whichever is later. Coverage Eluminocity warrants the products against defects in workmanship and materials during the warranty period. Eluminocity will replace or repair the defective Product at eluminocity s discretion free of charge, provided that the customer notifies eluminocity or the Product defect within the Warranty Period, and provided that eluminocity, through inspection, establishes the existence of such a defect. Customer must report the Product defect to an eluminocity service contact by contacting eluminocity US, Inc. at: 80 Pine Street, 24th Floor, New York, NY 10005 T. 1.212.752.3706 Customer should provide a brief description of the defect in order to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning the Product. Eluminocity accepts no responsibility or liability for Products returned without a prior authorized RMA. Product must be returned with a copy of the original dealer invoice or written proof of installation. In the event Customer transfers ownership of Product to a third-party, the warranty will only transfer to the third party if the Product remains installed at the original site. Product must also include a legible data label showing the serial number. Product must be returned to eluminocity US, Inc. in the original packaging materials or packaging providing equal protection during shipment. Eluminocity is not responsible for damage occurring during shipment. Eluminocity reserves the right, and at its option, to use new and/or refurbished Product for the warranty replacement. Eluminocity further reserves the right to use Products of original or improved design in the warranty replacement. If eluminocity replaces a Product, the Product s Warranty period continues for the remaining portion of the Warranty Period, without any extension thereof. All replaced Products are the property of eluminocity. Exclusion of Liability Eluminocity disclaims any liability, and is not responsible for providing warranty service or support under this Warranty for any direct or indirect damages due to: Transportation damage. Improper installation or commissioning. The removal, installation, or troubleshooting of the Customer s electrical systems. Modifications, alterations or repair attempts by persons other than eluminocity s authorized personnel. Relocation of the Product from its original installation location. Normal wear and tear of the Product.

Neglect, misuse, inappropriate operation, generators operating outside of the limits of the Product specifications, or use in an unsuitable environment, including but not limited to damage due to lightning strike. Insufficient ventilation or storage which does not meet requirements set out in the product manual. Force Majeure (e.g., water, ice, over-voltage, generalized corrosion, biological infestations, and other acts of God or nature, including but not limited to earthquakes, floods, fires, lightning or storms). The Product s original identification (trademark, serial number) markings have been defaced, altered, or removed. Non-compliance with relevant safety standards or regulations. Cosmetic shortcomings where damage to the exterior or casing of the Product does not influence or affect the operation of the Product, or the supply of energy from the Product. Missing items (ex: screws, brackets). Installation by a non-licensed contractor. Limitation of Liability TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OTHER THAN THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY, ELUMINOCITY MAKES NO ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, WHETHER IN FACT OR BY OPERATION OF LAW, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ANY WARRANTIES THAT MAY NOT BE DISCLAIMED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW IS LIMITED IN INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSSES, COSTS OR EXPENSES, HOWEVER ARISING, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT, INCLUDING WITHOUT RESTRICTION, ANY ECONOMIC LOSSES OF ANY KIND, ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, OR ANY PERSONAL INJURY. IN NO EVENT WILL ELUMINOCITY S LIBILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT AT ISSUE. Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York without reference to conflicts of law principles.
