Standard Features The Trane BDH(V)B Blower Coil units are designed to deliver a complete comfort system that makes it well suited for commercial application. They are very compact in size and are designed for tight ceiling space. These units are the most attractive commercial blower coil units by providing high quality solutions at a competitive price. They are designed for installation in schools, hospitals, offices, stores and other applications where cooling is required. Trane Innovative Wavy 3BS Slit Fin Coil Trane Wavy 3BS Coil technology is proven and tested to operate up to 650 FPM without moisture carryover. This coil design also provides superior heat transfer efficiency with its increased heat transfer surface. BDH(V)B Compact design Small equipment room space requirement. Durable Construction Sturdily constructed with heaved gauge galvanized steel for frame and casing. Built to last Attractive, high quality baked polyester powder paint finish on GI sheet metal - creates a strong and uniform surface that resists rust and scratch. Flexibility The BDH(V)B Blower Coil units are available either for horizontal / ceiling hung units or vertical / floor-mounted units. Optional Hi-static motors Eliminates need for field modification. and drives from factory Assures proper airflow. Permanently lubricated bearings Longer lasting. No maintenance. Easy & versatile installation Fully factory packaged filters, coil, motor, drives and fan are provided to quiken installation. Factory installed minimizes potential field problems. Mechanical Specification BDH(V)B Blower Coil Units General The Trane BDH(V)B Blower Coil Units shall be completely factory assembled consisting of filters, cooling coil, condensate drain pan, motor and forward-curved fan. The units are applicable in either vertical or horizontal configuration. Casing The unit framework shall be constructed of 3mm galvanized steel sheet. Exterior panels shall be fabricated from 1.2 mm thick galvanized steel. All panels shall be cleaned, chemically treated and finished with a weather resistant baked polyester powder paint. The unit casing shall be insulated with 6 mm thick polyethylene foam insulation. The foam insulation shall have a density of 25 kg/m3 and a heat transfer coefficient value of 0.0314 W/mK. All panels shall be removable to ensure proper access for servicing and maintenance. Removable panels shall be secured with bolts. Filter 1 inch washable filters with side sliding filter rail shall be provided as standard. (Option : 2 inch washable filters) Cooling Coil Coils shall be 9.5mm OD. (3/8 ) copper tubes, mechanically bonded to Wavy-3BS aluminium fin collars. Standard cooling coil shall be selected with 3 rows or 4 rows and 144 FPF. All coils shall be factory pressure test for leakage and proof at 25.9 kg/cm2 (375 psi). Recommended working pressure is 13.8 kg/cm2 (200 psi). The headers shall be made of copper with threaded steel connector. The drain pan shall be fabricated of galvanized steel. The drain pan shall be insulated with 6 mm PE foam insulation to prevent condensation and coated with antirust for better corrosion resistant. Fan Supply fans shall be of double width, double inlet forward-curved centrifugal fan. The drive components shall include fixed pitch drives a V-belts. The supply fan motor shall be provided with TEFC, IP 55 with Class F insulation. Fan and motor bearings shall be permanently lubricated. Factory Options Hi-Static Motor Optional factory mounted oversized motor for high external static pressure application. Discharge Plenum with Louver (For BDVB Series Only) Discharge plenum with louver shall be available for vertical free-blow discharge application. It shall be consructed of 1.2mm galvanized steel, finished with baked polyster powder paint to match the unit casing. 7
