780 Professional Drive N Shreveport, LA 71105 Phone (318)524-2270 Polaris RZR 900 XP Arched Trailing Arms PSATA-RZR9 Read Before Installation This product is designed for use on ATVs and/or RUVs to increase ground clearance. It is designed for utility type, slow-speed use on relatively flat terrain in deep mud or snow. Although we have many thousands of satisfied customers and over 1,800 franchised dealers selling and installing accessories, purchasers should be aware that use of this product may increase the frequency of required maintenance, part wear, and increasing risk of roll-over, injury and death on all types of terrain. It is your responsibility to always inform other operators and passengers of this vehicle about the added risks. We recommend that wider tires and/or wheel spacers be used to achieve a wider stance and to improve stability of the ATV and/or RUV. Riders should be advised that the handling characteristics of a taller ATV and/or RUV are different and require extra care when riding, particularly on side hills or off-camber situations. If you further raise the center of gravity by adding taller tires, heavy loads to racks or seats, or by any other means, the ATV and/or RUV must be operated with even more care, at slower speeds and on relatively flat ground. All turns should be done at a slow speed, even on level ground. Operation of an ATV and/or RUV with or without a lift kit, while or shortly after consuming alcohol or drugs, subjects the rider to the risk of serious bodily harm or possible death. This risk is compounded if the rider does not wear an approved helmet and other safety gear. High Lifter urges that all approved safety gear be worn when riding an ATV and/or RUV as a driver or passenger. If this product is not what you expected, or is not consistent with your intended use, you should return the product immediately to the seller, before installation, for a refund of the purchase price; less any fees. After installation, product is warranted for 90 days for defects in workmanship and materials. Warranty is limited to refund of the purchase price or replacement of the kit, at the seller s option. Dealers and other Installers You are responsible for informing your customer and end user of the information contained above and the increased potential hazards of operating an ATV and/or RUV that has been modified from its stock settings. If you install aftermarket accessories, it is your responsibility to also install the warning label prominently in view of the driver and in prominent view of the driver and passenger on RUVs and multi-passenger ATVs. They should also be instructed to notify anyone operating the vehicle, as well as any passengers, that the ATV/RUV has been modified. As discussed above, it is critically important that they be instructed in the need for slower speed operation, regardless of terrain, after the product is installed.

Installation Instructions 1. Before you jack up the UTV make sure to disconnect the rear sway bar from the arms. 2. Once you have disconnected the sway bar from the arms remove any factory or aftermarket rock guards. This may not apply to everyone just those UTV s equipped with the rock guards. 3. Next, jack up the rear of the UTV, securing it properly so that it does not fall, but it allows the arms to drop to full extension. 4. Unclip the brake lines from the arms. You can simply pull them out of the clips.

5. Disconnect the knuckle/hub assembly and radius bars from the factory trailing arms. 6. Next, disconnect the arm from the shock at the shock mount point. 7. Now, disconnect the arm from the frame. 8. Once you have removed the arm, remove the sway bar link from the arm.

9. Locate the arm for the side you are working on and install the new heim joint and jam nut. You will need measure the distance from the eye of the heim joint to the hole located on the arm. The distance needs to measure 34 3/16. Adjust the heim joint to achieve the proper distance then set the distance by tightening the jam nut. 10. Once you have set the length and tighten the jam connect the new trailing arm to the UTV. 11. Insert two heim adapters into the heim joint. 12. Connect the heim joint end to the frame using the stock nut and bolt that held the factory trailing arm in place.

13. You must rotate the dust shield on the shock, so that it is on the back side of the shock. You will need to rotate the dust shield even if you decide to take it off. The mount for the dust shield can prevent the shock from fitting properly on the trailing arm if it is not rotated. 14. If you choose to keep the factory dust shield on the shock, you will also need to trim the plastic shield for clearance. NOTE: For instructions purposes we removed the shield so that we could clearly show how to install parts. 15. Connect the shock to the new trailing arm using the 12x120mm hex bolt and 12mm lock nut provided.

16. Connect the rear knuckle assembly and rear radius bars to the new trailing arm using the factory hardware. 17. Next attached the factory sway bar link and spacer to the new trailing arm using the 10x40mm bolt and 10mm lock nut provided.

18. Connect the new sway bar extension bracket to the sway bar using the 10x50mm bolt and 10mm lock nut. 19. Connect the sway bar extension bracket to the sway bar link using the 10x55mm bolt and 10mm lock nut. 20. Now attach the brake line to the new trailing arm by using the P-clamp and zip ties provided. 21. Attach the P-calm to the inside of the trailing arm, making sure the brake line does not get pinched or cut during operation. There are two predrilled holes in the arms to attach the P- calms and you attach them using the 6x8mm bolts and 6mm washers provided.

22. Using the zip ties near the knuckle assembly, fasten the brake lines so that they do not get pinched or cut during operation. 23. Repeat the steps for the opposite side. 24. Place the wheels back on the UTV and torque all lugs to factory specifications. 25. Reconnect rock guards if applicable. BEFORE AFTER
