2 Macalloy s Sce the 1940 s Macalloy has been leadg the way the design, manufacture and supply of threaded bar systems, consistently servg its various markets with experience, novation and quality. Macalloy Macalloy s compression strut range builds on the tension structure products range and provides an adaptable, architectural solution across all budget and design parameters. The compression strut product range corporates two adjustable and one fixed solution, all of which are designed to be used conjunction with the Macalloy tension structure range of tension bars, staless cables and connection solutions. The Macalloy provides an aesthically pleasg long taper end to each end of the compression strut. The system uses the same fork end system as the Macalloy tension bar and cable systems allowg for combations of all 3 systems. The comes complete with an adjustable lock collar that provides a seamless lk between the fork end and strut. Available both staless and carbon steel. Advantages Pleasg architectural design Adjustment of the total length is permitted Lock collar provides a seamless fish Compatible with Macalloy tension bar and cable systems Macalloy Standard The Macalloy Standard has a shorter taper end than the strut and does not use the lockg collar. This provides a more cost effective solution. The Standard still uses the same fork end system as Macalloy tension bars and cables allowg for combations of all 3 systems. The total length is adjustable. Available carbon steel. Advantages Cost effective solution with fork end system. Adjustment of the total length is permitted Compatible with Macalloy tension bar and cable systems Macalloy Fixed nd The Macalloy Fixed nd provides an aesthetic, cost effective alternative to the dustry standard steel T section welded to the end of a CHS. The fork end matas the same critical dimensions as the Macalloy tension structures range enablg the use of sgle connection plates for multiple Macalloy systems. Macalloy will supply only the end forks from stock, which can then be welded to a locally sourced CHS on, or near site. Available carbon steel as standard. Advantages Cost effective solution Aesthetically pleasg design compared to standard CHS solutions asy to stall Available from stock
