GEL and AGM Batteries Do not discharge your AGM or Gel batteries below 50% SoC, to safe lifetime in cycles. The number of cycles for a rechargeable battery indicates how many times it can undergo the process of complete charging and discharging until failure or it starting to lose capacity. Cycle life is the number of charge/recharge cycles that the battery can support before that its capacity falls under 80%. (Gel Long Life = 2v OPzV)

Use same charge voltages Be aware of total charge current In BULK phase all chargers work together to fill the battery with amps. When Absorption starts, the charge current is low, the strongest will finish the job.

When the charge voltage of a 24V battery system increases to more than 27V, the Battery Balancer will turn on and compare the voltage over the two series connected batteries. The Battery Balancer will draw a current of up to 0,7A from the battery (or parallel connected batteries) with the highest voltage. The resulting charge current differential will ensure that all batteries will converge to the same state of charge
