They can be installed in any position. All parts coming in contact with the medium are made of stainless steel. A VITON O-ring seal is used for sealing purposes. Make sure that all sealing surfaces at the measuring location are clean and without damages before the installation. 2. The Viton - gasket (see figure 1) and the gasket ring, article number F490013 (see figure 2) have to be mounted before the actual installation. Fig.1 3. The Pressure Sensor will be glued in with Loctite 549. 4. Only use suitable tools (see figure 1) to screw the device straight into or out of the thread. 5. After that continue with the electrical connection. Take care to connect the cables as described herein (see figure 3). Fig.2 6. Make sure that no humidity can penetrate through the lines. 7. The pressure sensor is now ready for use. Fig. 3 Electrical connections: White: out / ground Brown: 24 V CAUTION The cable of the pressure sensor is not suitable for drag chains. This can damage the pressure sensor.
