Pressure Activated Time Delay Firing System High Pressure Time Delayed Firing Head (TDF) permits underbalance perforating through the use of a pressure actuated firing head employing a time delay fuse. The use of the time delay allows for time (9-10 minutes) to bleed the actuating pressure off the tubing, to achieve the desired underbalance, prior to firing the guns. The system may also be used with perforate and stimulate TCP to adjust the overbalance prior to the guns firing. Benefits Independently perforate selected zones. Fire several guns independently during one trip Obtain maximum utilization of underbalance Not affected by annulus pressure; can be run in heavy mud systems Can be used with full/or non-full opening tools Multiple guns can be run without gun spacers to reduce costs The TDF is ideal for production completions, drill stem testing, dual completions, and coiled tubing operations Recommended for running on top and/or bottom of gun assemblies Time delay extensions may be added for additional time in 10 minutes intervals (for N 2 operations) Specifications O.D. 1.68 4.3 cm Make-up Length 27.2 69.1 cm Max. Hydrostatic 20,000 PSI 137.9 MPa Min. Hydrostatic 2,000 PSI 13.8 MPa 2000
Differential Firing Head Assembly Differential Firing Head DFH was developed to allow low pressure actuation of TCP Guns. Benefits Underbalance perforating in horizontal wells without a packer Pressure balanced when run in hole for improved safety & reliability Can be adapted to run as an annulus pressure operated firing head using Packer Bypass System Can be run with Bar Activated Vent to open vent when firing Can be utilized with Time Delay fuses to provide time to reduce applied pressures. Specifications O.D. 3.13 7.9 cm Make-up Length 18.5 47 cm Max. Hydrostatic 20,000 PSI 137.9 MPa Max. Differential 12,500 PSI 86.1 MPa Min. Hydrostatic 250 PSI 1.7 MPa 2000
Redundant Annulus Pressure Firing System Redundant Annulus Pressure Firing System (R-APF) was designed to allow underbalance perforating for shoot and pull applications. The R-APF accomplishes this by using differential pressure across the packer to actuate the firing mechanism. Utilized with Packer Bypass system. Benefits Full bore design Can be used with any other Firing Head on top of the R-APF Can be used for Drill Stem Testing (DST) and shoot and pull applications Ideal for deviated wells Specifications O.D. 3.88 9.8 cm Make-up Length 32.5 82.5 cm Max. Hydrostatic 20,000 PSI 137.9 MPa Max. Differential 10,000 PSI 68.9 MPa Min. Hydrostatic 250 PSI 1.7 MPa 2000
