MT5300D AC Mining Truck The MT5300D AC 291 tonnes (320 tons) truck utilizes a Cat engine and Cat AC drive system, developed and supported by Caterpillar. The MT5300D AC is designed to deliver high productivity and the lowest cost per unit of production. Performance Optimize your performance to match applications with either the standard 2610 kw (3,500 hp) or optional 2051 kw (2,750 hp) engine. The MT5300D AC offers the perfect balance between power, capacity and four corner wet disc brakes with blended dynamic and mechanical stopping. Enhanced Serviceability Reduces downtime by providing simple hydraulic systems, modular components, hydraulic gauge cabinet, grouped service locations, engine bay service walkways and more ground accessible maintenance points. Focus on Safety Four post ROPS cab, wide stairways, industry leading dynamic retarding, four corner wet disc brakes, traction control, radial retarder grid with wide right side visibility inspire operator confidence. Maneuverability, Ride and Tire Life Beam axle suspension carries road stress, separating it from the frame and reducing frame-shock loads. Frame Durability Straight-rail, box-section frame design eliminates sources of stress concentration such as bends and breaks, and as a result provides an increase in frame fatigue life. Continuous frame rail beams with deep sections in critical area and ROPS supports also reduce stress delivering a rugged and dependable frame.
