The rate should be more than that of reserve price stated against the item. 4. The tractors / machineries / stores may be inspected by the bidders on any working day between 09.00 am to 03.00 pm lying at Agriculture Workshop, Keralapuram, Diglipur with the permission of Incharge, Workshop. 5. The sealed tenders duly superscribing Tender-cum-Auction should be deposited in the tender box placed at the office of the Assistant Director (Agri.),Diglipur, Department of Agriculture before 14/09/2017 up to 03.00pm. 6. Tender shall be accompanied with the earnest money deposit (EMD) for ` 5000/- in the form of DD drawn in favour of the Assistant Director (Agri.), Diglipur payable to any nationalized bank. No cash or cheque will be accepted. 7. The EMD of unsuccessful bidder will be returned soon after the process of tender and auction. 8. The successful bidder (highest bidder) has to deposit 25 % of the bid amount immediately after the acceptance of the bid. The EMD already deposited in the form of DD may be transferred to the department or may take back by the bidder. 9. The highest bidder either in tender or in auction will be accepted which will be communicated immediately after process. 10. An auction will conducted at the premises of Agriculture Workshop, Keralapuram, Diglipur at 10 am on 15/09/2017 and thereafter the tender will be opened on the same day at 11.00 am in the presence of bidder in the office. 11. Anyone can participate in the auction on the spot by depositing EMD of ` 5000/- in the form of DD. 12. The tender documents can be downloaded from the Andaman & Nicobar Administration website http://www.and.nic.in 13. The successful bidder shall deposit the balance amount in favour of the Assistant Director (Agri.), Diglipur withing 03 days from the date of receipt of the written confirmation order.
14. On receipt of the payment, the Assistant Director (Agri.), will issue delivery order to the accepted bidder who shall have to remove the items / disposals within 07 days from the date of issue of the delivery order. 15. If successful bidder fails to deposit the entire value within the stipulated period, the Director of Agriculture reserves the right to forfeit the EMD already deposited and the items will be disposed off in any manner as desired by the Director of Agriculture. 16. No claim what so ever on this account will be entertained by the department. 17. The Director of Agriculture reserves the right to accept or reject the bids/tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
