Training Manager Candidate Chris G Personal Statement: I currently work for Eddie Stobart Logistics based at the Training Academy and move around the business frequently. I manage the day to day running of all training requirements for ESL and up until recently Stobart Group. The Trainers I manage are spread across the country and travelling is required to fulfil my duties. Duties do vary from course writing to compliance advice and guidance to Operational Planning and Transport Managers. I also deliver the Transport and Compliance training package for Operational staff and managers. The DVSA licence acquisition programme demands my attention as there are DVSA standards to police and maintain at all times as well as delivering DVSA standard instruction when required. All accredited training materials are my responsibility (JAUPT/ SQA/ DVSA/ TFL/ ALLMI/ SAFED) I have experience in delivering time scale critical training support and materials within the business and externally. My most recent successful project is the delivery of Aggregate Industries training, a new industry contract to ESL that has demanded new skill set learning and experience gained from this project set has been most advantageous and challenging. Also EDF Training for ESL, EDF and Balfour Beatty Work Place Solutions. This project also allowed me to work alongside Stobart Rail Training Team thus giving me an insight to Rail Training Network. I have more recently worked alongside Lang Orourke/ Explore manufacturing to design and deliver heavy haulage training for ESL Drivers to work within the construction industry. Engaged with Transport for London to accredit Eddie Stobart Logistics Training Team for the delivery of Safe Urban Driving materials for the Aggregate Industry of the UK.
