ELETRIL REQUIREMENTS WRNING Eletril Shok Hzrd Plug into grounded 3 prong outlet. Do not remove the ground prong from the power ord plug. Do not use n dpter. Do not use n extension ord. GROUNDING INSTRUTIONS For grounded, ord-onneted mirowve: The mirowve oven must e grounded. In the event of n eletril short iruit, grounding redues the risk of eletri shok y providing n espe wire for the eletri urrent. The mirowve oven is equipped with ord hving grounding wire with grounding plug. The plug must e plugged into n outlet tht is properly instlled nd grounded. WRNING: Improper use of the grounding plug n result in risk of eletri shok. onsult qulified eletriin or serviemn if the grounding instrutions re not ompletely understood, or if dout exists s to whether the mirowve oven is properly grounded. STEP 1 - UNPK MIROWVE OVEN WRNING Exessive Weight Hzrd Use two or more people to move nd instll mirowve oven. Filure to do so n result in k or other injury. 1. Using two or more people move the mirowve lose to the instlltion site. 2. Open the four flps on the rton top. From the top of the mirowve, remove the fom pking tht ontins the turntle nd turntle ring. NOTE: Do not remove the fom pking from the front of the oven. 3. Open the top of the plsti g. Using two people, lift the mirowve out of the rton nd gently set it front down on the fom pking. Remove the grese filters nd User Mnul from the rton. Fom Pking rton 4. Lote nd remove the two srews tthing the mounting plte to the k of the oven, nd then remove the mounting plte. 6

NOTE: The mounting plte will e used s the wll templte nd to mount the mirowve oven onto the wll. Srews Mounting Plte (Wll Templte) 5. Reple the two srews into the holes from whih they were removed. STEP 2 - LOTE WLL STUDS IMPORTNT: The mirowve must e instlled to t lest one wll stud, preferly two wll studs. If there is no wll stud within the inet opening, do not instll the mirowve oven. 1. Find the studs using one of the following methods: Stud finder mgneti devie tht lotes nils. OR Using hmmer, tp lightly ross the mounting surfe while listening for solid sound. solid sound indites stud lotion. 2. fter loting the stud(s), find the enter y proing the wll with smll nil to find the edges of the stud. Then ple mrk hlfwy etween the edges. The enter of ny djent studs should e 16" (40.6 m) or 24" (61 m) from this mrk. 3. Mrk the enter of the djent stud, nd then drw vertil plum line down the enter of eh stud. STEP 3 - LIGN RER WLL TEMPLTE ND MRK WLL Overhed inet styles vry. Follow the instrutions tht pply to the inet style in your home. IMPORTNT: Disonnet power to eletril outlet. STYLE 1 - FLT-OTTOM INET IMPORTNT: The mirowve must e level. Use rpenter s level to mke sure the inet ottom is level. 1. Drw vertil line on the wll t the enter of the 24" (61 m) wide opening. 2. Ple the Mounting Plte/Rer Wll Templte onto the wll so tht the enterline of the templte is ligned with the enter line, nd the top of the templte is touhing the ottom of the inet. Tpe the templte in this position. 7

Ple the Mounting Plte/Rer Wll Templte onto the wll so tht the enterline of the templte is ligned with the enter line, nd the top of the templte is touhing the ottom of the inet. Tpe the templte in this position. enter Line 30" (76.2 m) to ooktop STYLE 3 - REESSED INET WITH FRONT OVERHNG OR DEORTIVE TRIM IMPORTNT: The mirowve must e level. Use rpenter s level to mke sure the inet ottom is level. If deortive inet trim is interfering with the instlltion nd leveling of the mirowve oven, remove the deortive trim. If the inets hve front overhng, ut no k or side overhng, to keep the mirowve level, ple the mounting plte so tht the distne from the top of the mounting plte to the inet ottom is equl to the distne from the ottom of the front overhng to the ottom of the inet. 8

Tpe the templte in this position. STEP 4 - DRILL HOLES FOR MOUNTING MIROWVE OVEN IMPORTNT: t LEST one wood srew mounted firmly in stud must e used to support the weight of the mirowve. 1. Drw horizontl line on the wll mrking the ottom of the Rer Wll Templte. 2. Lote holes nd inside the Mounting Plte re indited on the rer wll templte. 3. Ple the mounting plte on top of the rer wll templte entered in the Mounting Plte re so tht the holes on the mounting plte lign with the holes on the templte. 4. Mrk the wll through holes nd. IMPORTNT: If neither Hole nor Hole ligns with stud, lote stud within the mounting plte re nd mrk third hole tht ligns with the stud. 5. Remove the mounting plte nd set it side. Drill holes in the mrked lotions. NOTE: wood srew must e used when instlling into wood stud. Drill ⁵ ₈" hole to use toggle olt Drill ³ ₁₆" hole to use wood srew. 6. DO NOT INSTLL THE MOUNTING PLTE T THIS TIME. 9

NOTE: IT IS VERY IMPORTNT TO RED ND FOLLOW THE DIRETIONS IN THE INSTLLTION INSTRUTIONS EFORE PROEEDING WITH THIS RER WLL TEMPLTE. This Rer Wll Templte serves to position the ottom mounting plte nd to lote the horizontl exhust outlet. 1. Use level to hek tht the templte is positioned urtely. 2. Lote nd mrk t lest one stud on the left or right side of the enterline. It is importnt to use t lest one wood srew mounted firmly in stud to support the weight of the mirowve. Mrk two dditionl, evenly sped lotions for the supplied toggle olts. 3. Drill holes in the mrked lotions. Where there is stud, drill 3/16" hole for wood srews. For holes tht do not line up with stud, drill 5/8" holes for toggle olts. DO NOT INSTLL THE MOUNTING PLTE T THIS TIME. 4. Remove the templte from the rer wll. 5. Review the Instlltion Instrution ook for your instlltion sitution. Drle vuelt l hoj pr onsultr l versión en Esp ol. Lote nd mrk holes to lign with holes in the mounting plte. IMPORTNT: LOTE T LEST ONE STUD ON EITHER SIDE OF THE ENTERLINE. MRK THE LOTION FOR 2 DDITIONL, EVENLY SPED TOGGLE OLTS IN THE MOUNTING PLTE RE. Trim the rer wll templte long the dotted line. 4" 12" 24 MINIMUM WIDTH REQUIRED Trim the rer wll templte long the dotted line. Lote nd mrk holes to lign with holes in the mounting plte. Mounting Plte re STEP 5 - DETERMINE VENTILTION METHOD IMPORTNT: This mirowve oven is shipped ssemled for Reirulting Ventiltion Instlltion; however, it is designed to dpt to the following methods of ventiltion. Selet the ventiltion method required for your instlltion nd follow the instrutions speifi to your method: Method - Outside Top Exhust (Vertil Dut) 10

Method - Outside k Exhust (Horizontl Dut) Method - Reirulting (Non-Vented, Dutless) STEP 6 - INSTLL MIROWVE OVEN Instll the mirowve oven following the instrutions speifi to your method of ventiltion: Method - Outside Top Exhust, Method - Outside k Exhust, Method - Non-Vented (Reirulting) METHOD - OUTSIDE TOP EXHUST IMPORTNT: Mke sure the srews for the lower motor nd lower plte re seurely tightened when they re reinstlled. This will help void exessive virtion. Mke sure the motor wiring hs een properly routed nd seured, nd tht the wires re not pinhed. INSTLL MOUNTING PLTE NOTE: t lest one wood srew must e used to tth the plte to wll stud. 1. Remove the toggle wings from the olts. 2. Insert the olts into the mounting plte through the holes designted to go into drywll nd retth the toggle wings onto eh olt. 11

3. Ple the mounting plte ginst the wll nd insert the toggle wings into the holes in the wll to mount the plte. d e f D E F Mounting Plte Wll olt End Sping for Toggles More Thn Wll Thikness Toggle Wings Toggle olt 4. Press the mounting plte flush ginst the wll. Mke sure the mounting plte touhes the ottom of the horizontl line nd tht the plte is entered under the inet. NOTE: void pinhing fingers etween the k of the mounting plte nd the wll. 5. Tighten ll olts. NOTE: Pull the plte wy from the wll to help tighten the olts. PREPRE OVERHED INET 1. Red the instrutions on the Top inet templte, nd then tpe the templte underneth the overhed inet. 2. Drill the holes following the instrutions on the templte. Drill holes for the top support srews. Drill hole lrge enough for the power ord to fit through. Drill utout lrge enough for the exhust dpter. 12

DPT LOWER FOR OUTSIDE TOP EXHUST 1. Ple the mirowve in n upright position. 2. Remove nd sve the three srews fstening the exhust plte to the mirowve. 3.
