ARGUS ATEX Exd, Exi & INDUSTRIAL SWITCHES INTRODUCTION The Argus pressure, differentil pressure, temperture, level nd flow swithes re designed for use in environments where explosive gses nd extremes of both high nd low mbient temperture n be present (e.g. Gs fields, Oil rigs nd Chemil plnts et.) They hve been ATEX ertified for CAT 1 CE Ex II1G Exi IIC T6,T5 & T4 nd CAT 2 CE Ex II2G Exd IIC T6,T5 & T4. These swithes re mnuftured from either PPS (engineering polymer) or high qulity investment st 316 stinless steel both offer robust onstrution nd protetion to IP67 for use within hevily polluted industril nd mrine environments. These instruments n be djusted with the power on nd the swith in opertion. Delrtion vilble for SIL2 - IEC61508 proven relibility. CALIBRATION The design fetures simple form of librtion djustment ginst sle blok.this llows users to either order units with speifi setting, or stok mid rnge setting nd then djust to suit the pplition. This n be set sfely with the swith supply live. On removl of the djustment over the djusting srew n be turned with the smll Tommy br supplied. The setting is red from the entre of the red inditing ring ginst the internl sle plte. Rottion to the left will inrese the set point nd to the right derese the set point. The djustment mehnism inorportes frition devie to ensure set point will not hnge under vibrtion onditions.
