ENGLISH MANUAL Adjusting the Holster for your gun Keeping the tradition of fine design, quality, elegance, strength and durability of the previous models, Holster FSH is virtually universal, therefore suitable to most of today s pistols. To adjust the holster for your gun, visit http://gugaribas.com.br/en/products-and-services/ holster/ to watch the video on how to use the equipment aside with this manual. This will allow you to learn more about the product and adjust it with greater ease. This product was developed specifically for use in high performance sports and should be regulated as described in this manual, respecting the safety rules of the IPSC, USPSA and any rule relating to the handling of firearms. Adjustment is carried out in six steps and takes approximately 20 minutes.to guarantee your safety, follow the step-by-step instructions to the letter. When adjusting this holster make sure you do it in a safe environment and that your gun is empty and unloaded. Your safety is your responsibility. This manual can be accessed at: http://gugaribas.com.br/en/manuals 2 3

STEP 0 FITTING THE INSERT FOR GUNS WITH AN ASYMMETRICAL TRIGGER GUARD 0A 0B 0C In case your weapon s trigger guard (tg) is asymmetrical, as the HK is (photo 0A and 0B) replace the insert in the top part of both sides (photo 0C). If your trigger guard is symmetrical and straight, you do not need to make this adjustment! With the holster still closed, release the top screw (anti-clockwise) in the outer side (photo 0D). After removing the screw, use the Allen key to pull the original insert from the holster and remove it (photo 0E). Next, take the insert for asymmetrical trigger guards, slot it in (photo 0F and 0G) and screw in the external screw (photo 0H). Place insert for asymmetric tg Press the insert to firm 0F 0G Replace outer the screw 0H For side B, first remove the handle to access the upper screw (photo 0I), repeat the steps described above and then move on to the next step (1). 0D 0E Remove original insert 4 5 0I 0J 0K 0L

01 02 STEP 1 - OPENING THE HOLSTER B A 03 04 the two parts separate. ATTENTION! Do not remove the top screw near the lock lever (photo 01 and 02) To begin the adjustment of your holster, you need to open it. To do this, remove the screws (photos 01 From now on, we will call the part and 02) and then turn the central with the L lock (or Passive lock) screw accessed in the gap between A and the part with the active the two outer screws (photo 03) lock B, as per photo 04. 6 in an anti-clockwise direction until 7

STEP 2 - ADJUSTING THE POSITION OF THE PASSIVE LOCK OR L LOCK (PART A) With part A in your hand, slide the gun (photo 05) -imitating placing it in the holster- until the gun frame sits lightly on the upper part of the holster, as shown in photo 07. You will adjust the position on the L lock with the gun in this position. 05 06 8 9 07

Activate the lock lever, putting it in lock mode. 08 Activate the lock lever, putting it in lock mode (photo 08). Looking at the inside, adjust the height of the L lock (photo 09) until the front of the trigger guard clicks into the lock gap (photo 10). The gun should not move in the vertical position. To adjust the height of the L lock, turn the screw in the lower part of the A side in an anti-clockwise direction (photo 09) to rise the lock joint to the correct height. 09 10 11 10

Correct adjustment: 11 12 11. In this picture the top of the holster touches the frame, but the lock height is too low in relation to the trigger guard. 12. In this case the lock height is too high in relation to the trigger guard. We can see that the trigger guard is fitted, however there is a large gap between it and the lock. 13. This picture shows the correct positioning of the lock. We can see that the trigger guard is tight in the lock. A minimal gap here is necessary for the mechanism to work well. 12 13 13

STEP 3 - ADJUST THE FRONT PART OF THE TRIGGER Keeping the arm fixed in A, as in photo 13, check that the screws in the nylon head (photo 14) are touching the front of the trigger guard. If necessary, adjust them to the format of the trigger guard so that they sit together with it (photos 15 and 16). 15 14 16 14 15

STEP 4 - ADJUSTING THE WIDTH OF THE LOCK Hold the L lock in place and work the adjusting screws through the window (photo 17). To adjust the width of the lock, you must loosen the two outer screws and then turn the middle screw in an anticlockwise direction, so that the width of the lock increases (photos 18 and 19). For this adjustment, the gun must be in the same position as the previous step (photo 20). Repeat this process until it locks fits into the inner trigger guard when activated and rests neatly (without a gap and with light pressure) in the lower part. Front view of the L lock, showing the minimum length. (Tests must be carried out with the gun inserted.) 18 Front view of the L lock, showing increased length. 19 17 Upper view of the adjusting bolts in the L lock. 16 20 17

Right adjustment Insufficient lock width (very narrow): the space between the trigger guard and the lock allows the gun to sit loosely. 21 23 24 22 Appropriate width: the lock fits well in the trigger guard. Exaggerated lock width (very wide): the lock does not enter the trigger guard so does not lock the gun into the holster. 18 19

Extra adjustment: If you find that there is still a significant gap between the lower part of the trigger guard and the holster (photo 25) the support shown in photo 26 must be changed. With your holster you will have also received two pieces that are identical to the support which can already be found in the equipment but with a different thickness (photo 26). For this, remove the screw indicated in the same photo; it is only visible when the L lock is adjusted in its lowest positions (photos 27 and 28). In this case, although the height of the lock has already been adjusted, it will be necessary to lower it more, change the support and then re-adjust the right height once again. 26 27 25 20 21 28

Verification Once you have finished this adjustment, put the lock in the unlocked position, simulate the movement of placing the gun in the holster (photo 29) and check whether the lock is functioning correctly (photo 30). The trigger guard should touch the Nylon head screws and the lock should enter the inside of the trigger guard, locking it into position. 29 30 22 23

STEP 5- ADJUSTING THE ACTIVE LOCK (SIDE B) Height: The height adjustment made on side A must be repeated on side B. As in side A, the adjustment of the height on the lock is done via the screw located on the bottom (photo 32), by turning it in anticlockwise direction. The height of the locks should be the same on both sides (photos 33). Width: The width adjustment of the lock made on side A must be repeated on side B. Compare them visually. To access the adjusting screws for width on the active lock (side B), push the lock with your finger until the front of the holster opens (photos 34 and 35). As on side A, loosen the two external screws and then turn the middle one in an anti-clockwise direction, so that the width increases. 31 32 33 34 Left side(b) is yet not adjusted in Case height adjustment screw. The height of the case on side B is To adjust the width of the lock on side keeping with the right(a). correctly matched to that of side A. B, press the lock. Next step: adjust the width. 24 25

This should be done until the adjustment of side B is equal to that of side A. For guns with a rounded trigger guard, such as Taurus PT 101, 100, 99, 92, 89, 59, 58 pistols, the active lock (side B) may need to be narrower than the passive lock (side A). With the lock pressed on side B, the adjustment screws appear. 35 36 Width of the lock and height of the case next to side B are adjusted to that of side A. 26 27

STEP 6 - REASSEMBLING AND ADJUSTING THE WIDTH OF THE FRAME The inner width adjusting screw should be tightly screwed into place (photo 37 and 38). ATTENTION! Without this screw you won t be able to open your holster again. If you close your holster without the inner screw please contact out technical support at: productsupport@gugaribas.com Re-fit the two sides, A and B (photo 39), taking care with so that both sides are adjusted (photo 40). 39 37 38 28 29 40

Replace the holster s external closing screws and continue tightening them alternately until the width of the holster is appropriate to the width of the frame of the gun (photo 41). This width should be enough to allow the equipment to enter and be removed easily, but at the same time leave it tight in the holster. Test the width placing your gun on the adjusted holster (photos 42 and 43) The frame here is moving sideways inside the holster. It must be still. Continue adjusting the two external screws until the frame is tight in the holster. Next, unscrew the internal screw using the middle hole until you meet resistance, thus finalizing the adjustment (photo 49). 44 41 42 43 30 31 45

FINE ADJUSTMENT: Your holster has a frontal insert that allows fine adjustment, if necessary. To adjust it loosen the middle screw shown in photo 46, and with the 2mm Allen key access the screws through both lateral holes (photo 47) and in anti-clockwise motion unscrew them until the shim sits lightly in the frame (photo 48). With your holster you received a higher shim. Use it if you judge necessary. For that exchange you have to substitute the shim lateral screws (photo 49) for the spare M3x8 screws. Observation: It is important to take care when using this resource as a change in inclination of the gun in the holster could interfere with previous adjustments, thus affecting the adequate functioning of the holster. Once everything is set, just make sure all the screws are fixed. 46 47 50 48 49 32 33 51

Congratulations Your holster is now ready to be used. If you need any support with your product please contact us at: productsupport@gugaribas.com.br 34 35
