Mississippi Corvette Club Meeting Minutes FEBRUARY 2017 CALL TO ORDER A MEETING OF THE MISSISSIPPI CORVETTE CLUB WAS HELD AT AMERIGO S IN FLOWOOD. MEMBERS AND GUESTS WERE WELCOMED. Reports Condolences and prayers: Dean Way has undergone treatment for pancreatic cancer Dr. Tipton has suffered the loss of his brother Zen Wendel is recovering well from hip replacement surgery Jolly Mayfield has undergone his 2en open heart surgery
David Johnson is in Greenwood undergoing therapy for an amputation and he is diabetic which increases the risk factors and recovery time. There is a new section on our website which is still a work in progress. You will be able to see all of the events that are planned during the year, the dates and download registration forms. If you only get one item for the Silent Auction or one sponsor which is in most cases someone you ve had business connections with, that goes a long way. Talk to your dentist, veterinarian, Yard Company, most of these people are happy to make a tax deductible contribution to a worthy cause. We have a handout of the benefits of being a sponsor and how we can promote their business throughout the year. There are also jobs available during the show. Contact any officer for details on how you can help. Also, if you have any questions about DFM and how the monies are utilized, that information is available. Remember 100% of the proceeds go to DFM. New Business This is a repeat for new members: Professional name badges are now available. The club logo and your name is on the front on a white background, and the white is on a black background. There are 3 magnets on the back so it doesn t make holes in clothing. The badges are $8.50 ea. They are available from Discount Trophy on Lake Harbour in Ridgeland or you can Page 3

Everyone will get copies of the Silent Auction The Alabama Corvette Show in Birmingham is May 6th. The first 50 cars will get to park indoors.
