TECHNICAL REGULATIONS 2015- RACING CLASSES The technical regulations are designed to ensure the highest level of safety. All drivers and vehicles must comply with all written and oral directions of the event promoters. Failure to comply may result in immediate exclusion from the event, with no refund of entry fees. VEHICLES i. All vehicles must be a recognised model from a vehicle manufacturer. ii. Open Wheel vehicles, Clubman, Kit or Bike engine powered cars are NOT permitted, as determined by the Promoter. iii. All vehicles must have only four (4) wheels with the steering acting on the front wheels only unless rear wheel steering is originally fitted, in which case the original system may remain. iv. Vehicles may only contain one engine. DRIVER SAFETY APPAREL As a minimum, drivers are required to wear the following which must be presented for inspection at pre-event Scrutineering: i. Helmets complying with FIA regulations or as per the requirements of the organisers of the event, in good condition without any perforations to the outer surface. ii. Footwear, socks and gloves made from flame retardant material complying with FIA regulation. iii. One piece driving suits made from flame retardant material complying with at least FIA 1986. iv. Underwear, recommended to be made to FIA standard. v. A balaclava complying with FIA 8856-2000 must be worn.

VEHICLE MODIFICATIONS All Vehicles must be presented as originally manufactured apart from the freedoms allowed in these regulations: 1. BODY 1. All convertible type vehicles must be equipped with a hard top which meets the approval of the Chief Scrutineer. 2. Total vehicle width (measured at its widest point, excluding mirrors and front winglets/canards) must not exceed 350mm wider than original). 3. Windscreen may be replaced with Polycarbonate of minimum 5mm but must be in original position; the rest of the windows may be replaced with polycarbonate of minimum 3mm. 4. Original Brake light in working condition or the addition of a single working brake light may be fitted as a minimum. 5. Front bumper is mandatory 2. CHASSIS 1. All vehicles must retain firewall. 2. Modifications can be made for transmission clearance, wiring or roll cage, however the resulting bulkhead must resemble the original and continue to be both structural and create seal between the forward area and the cockpit. Any replacement material must be of the same thickness as the original firewall and of similar material (e.g. steel for steel, aluminium for aluminium). 3. Original frame rails and shock towers must be retained from the upper portion of the shock towers and back. Modifications are allowed solely for the addition or relocation of suspension pickup geometry. 4. No fully tubular construction or composite monocoques are allowed. 5. Composite/ Carbon fibre materials can be used only in non-structural components unless originally fitted. 6. Original floor pan and frame rails must be retained from the firewall to the forward most point of the rear wheel arch. Allowance for removal material for fitment of fuel or fluid tanks and associated fittings is permitted. 7. Modifications are allowed only as needed for exhaust, driveshaft clearance, mounting of roll cage, seat or other safety items. Under no circumstances can any portion of the frame

rails or floor pan be removed or modified from the rear of the driver's seat forward to the firewall except as required for exhaust clearance, transmission clearance, tail-shaft clearance or the detailed addition of bushes or brackets in mounting under surfaces. 8. B pillar may be moved only to improve driver access and must be retained. 9. Roll cage is compulsory and must be of a minimum 6-point construction that complies with FIA regulations, and/or meets the approval of the chief scrutineer. Side impact bar is compulsory. FURTHER NOTE Any vehicles that do not meet the definitions listed will need to be considered on a case-bycase basis. If your vehicle does not meet the definition you must submit your vehicle modifications for approval. 3. AERODYNAMIC AIDS 1. Strength and method of aero component fastening will be checked thoroughly at scrutineering and if found to be unsuitable the vehicle will not be permitted to start until improvements are made to meet approval of the chief scrutineer. 2. Active aero includes hydraulically or electronically actuated or movable components are permitted. 3. Aero design may not extend further than 550mm forward and rear no further than 400mm rearward than the vehicles bodywork, aero height is free. 4. Front under tray/splitter may extend up to 550mm forward of the vehicles bodywork. 5. Front appendages may not be fitted higher than the bonnet. Front/rear winglets/canards cannot extend more than 350mm per side past the splitter/under-tray maximum overhang. End plates are measured separately with a maximum thickness of 10mm. 6. Rear diffuser/under tray may extend 300mm rearward beyond the furthest point of the vehicles bodywork. 7. Rear wing assembly design is free and may extend up to 200mm per side wider than the widest point of each side and 350mm above the horizontal line from the highest point of the roof. End plates are measured separately with a maximum thickness of 10mm. 8. Flat floors are not permitted to be part of the structural monocoque.

4. ENGINE 1. Engine modifications are unrestricted save for the engine must be from a recognised vehicle manufacturer. 2. Engine changes during the event are permitted subject to the approval of the chief scrutineer. 3. Nitrous systems are permitted. 5. TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL 1. Transmission and Differential are free 6. SUSPENSION 1. Springs and Dampers may be replaced however the number of dampers per vehicle must remain as original. 2. Suspension bushes are free. 3. Original mounting points may be reinforced and altered in design and location. 4. Sway bars are free. 7. TYRES 1. The use of any tyre softening chemical on tyres is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate exclusion from the event. 2. Random tyre checking will be conducted throughout the event; failure to comply will result in a penalty up to exclusion. 3. Maximum 8 marked tyres per race are allowed, four of them new for each race. 4. Tyre restrictions will apply as follows: Tyres are free in type and compounds (slicks, semislicks, DOT etc)

8. WHEELS 1. Wheels are free and size is unrestricted. 2. A maximum of one metallic spacer may be used behind each wheel. Consideration must be given to wheel stud length when fitting spacers. 9. INTERIOR 1. Local modification to interior for fitment of a roll cage is allowed. 2. Interior is free save for the following exception: Driving position may be moved rearwards, but not beyond the rear foot well. 3. Replacement door trims in alternative material are permitted. 4. All vehicles must retain dashboard. 10. VEHICLE SAFETY All vehicles must be equipped with the following: 1. Hand held fire extinguisher(s) of 4kg capacity as a minimum. 2. Two separate fasteners of adequate strength and limited extensibility which simultaneously hold any front opening panel closed. 3. A blue battery triangle to identify battery location. 4. A front & rear tow point clearly marked. 5. All forward facing glass lenses to be covered by a protective film. 6. An FIA approved safety harness mounted as per FIA regulations (3 years expired) 7. A driver's seat with FIA certificate (3 years expired) 8. A battery isolation (master) switch, which effectively isolates all electrical circuits from the battery and stops the engine to be located as per FIA regulations. 9. Rear View mirrors are compulsory, inside and outside on both sides of the car.

10. Vehicles must be fitted with a bulkhead constructed from a flame- and liquid-proof material. This bulkhead shall effectively seal the cockpit from the fuel tank or re-fuelling system. 11. Any vehicle found to be leaking oil or fluids whilst competing will be suspended from the event until the Chief Scrutineer / Clerk of Course is satisfied that action has been taken to rectify the leak. Should there be a re-occurrence of the leak then the vehicle will be excluded from the remainder of the event. 12. Fuel tank, if not original, must be located in the trunk and vented externally to the bodywork and be of a recognized manufacturer with minimum standards and anti-flame foam installed, if not NHRA or FIA compliant, manufacturer s documentation must be submitted for approval to the chief scrutineer. Miscellaneous Event organiser's decals and compulsory event sponsor decals as supplied must be placed on the vehicle as per instructions provided at documentation. Drivers and vehicles must be presented in a clean and tidy manner completely ready for the track including the driver's apparel and helmet. Drivers who are late or do not show for the drivers briefing are excluded from the event. At the end of the event no car is loaded on trailer unless the organizers allow to.
