Precautions for Use learance Adjustable clearance and open type Linear Busins can be adjusted for radial internal clearance if tey are used wit a ousin wic can adjust te bore. However, if te deree of te adjustment is excessive, deformation at te contact points between steel balls and saft or external cylinder becomes lare, resultin in sort life. Terefore, it is recoended to prepare a saft wit a specified fit tolerance and adjust te radial internal clearance to zero or minimal preload by matcin te individual components. Te clearance is adjusted wile ceckin wit a dial ae. Te adjustment is enerally completed wen te saft is rotated in an unloaded condition and lit resistance is caused by te rotation of saft. In tis condition, te radial internal clearance becomes zero or minimal preload. For open type Linear Busins avin tree rows of ball circuits, clearance adjustment can not be made.
