Engineering & QA News New Potentiometer Afikim initiated a thorough analysis of the Afiscooter S Throttle potentiometer. This resulted in a decision to use the new throttle mechanism of Afiscooter S+ tiller, for the existing S and Breeze scooter models. There will be one generic throttle mechanism that will fit and support all generations of the S scooters family, which will enable you to hold one wigwag throttle type with improved characteristics. The lever will be connected directly to the Potentiometer shaft, similar to the C & SE scooters. The modification will be available end of Q2 2016. New C enlarged battery cover Afiscooter C is now available with the enlarged battery cover to allow larger batteries = longer range option. The first shipment of this new design was already introduced on Q1 2016 and is now open to all distributors world-wide. Check out the designed large battery case. Afiscooter M - Dual seat Afikim's utility scooter - Afiscooter M is now available with a Dual seat option, with or without a canopy. The dual seat option was added to the single seat one, following the market requests. KFDA Certificate We are proud to announce that Afikim's Afiscooter C model and our sub-contractors' factory in China passed the KFDA severe audits. Afikim's C4 model is now supported by the subsidized South Korean market and distributed via our exclusive distributor: DSI. Thanks to our QA, R & D, Engineering and Operation managers for their support in achieving this accomplishment! New Models Afikim's engineers have been working on the Beta models of: Afiscooter C+, Afiscooter S+ and the SE. The new C+ features a new tiller with an LCD display control panel indicating speed, battery status, lighting and signaling. The C+ also has a larger battery cover, a new and improved large front basket, front cellular phone pocket, a USB charging socket, as well as new rims & mirrors. The release date of the New AfiScooter C+ will be announced soon. The new stylish Afiscooter S+ features a New S tiller including an LCD control panel in an attractive new design, a cellular phone pocket & USB charging socket, for a great look and performance. In addition we have added new rims & new mirrors, and an optional high back seat. Watch out for the release date of the New AfiScooter S+. The new SEV design includes a fantastic suspension to enable a stable and safe ride in any driving environment. The SEV includes stunning modern features, such as: cellular phone pocket, USB charging socket, new rims, new mirrors, a large storage case and more. International News Big Picture USA 2016 Afikim exhibited at the 'Big Picture' event, in February 2016 in Columbus Ohio. The yearly show was held by Afikim's leading US internet dealer Spinlife. Customer Service, Sales Representatives and Spinlife employees attended the event. Afikim presented the new redesigned models of Afiscooter C+, Afiscooter S+ and the SEV. Training was provided to Spinlife team during the show. Big Picture USA 2016 Afikim's France distributor EVOL MOBILITES, presented at the Salon Autonomic show, in Toulouse, on March 3rd-4th. Salon Autonomic Atlantique Show is a great meeting place for both professionals and the general public. The show attracts about 10,000 professionals and visitors and 150 exhibitors.
