Reliance Infrastructure Limited's Distribution Business (RInfra-D) has filed a Petition for approval of Schedule of as per Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (Electricity Supply Code and Other Conditions of Supply) Regulations, 2005 before the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC or Commission) under the Electricity Act, 2003. The Commission has admitted the Petition on 10 October, 2012 and directed RInfra-D to publish a Public Notice under Section 64(2) of the Electricity Act, 2003 for inviting objections/comments from the public through this Notice. 2. The Commission had approved the Schedule of to be recovered from the consumers of RInfra-D's licence area vide its Order dated November 2, 2006 in Case No. 25 of 2006. There has been significant rise in the cost of material and services in the last five years. In view of this, the prevailing Schedule of has become inadequate from the perspective of services covered and amounts chargeable to the consumers. Hence, RInfra-D has filed the present Petition for revision of Schedule of. 3. 12 Recovery of Royalty/RoW charges if levied on RInfra 13 Recovery of full/partial rental for network usage said development and electricity is fed to them from the substation under reference in numbers - If Royalty/RoW charges are levied on RInfra, then same to be recovered for respective beneficiary/beneficiar ies through adjustment in electricity bill/s at actual - It is proposed to recover following charges from the consumers having load above 150kW in common building for whom RInfra-D has created n/w. facility - Monthly rental for the n/w proportionately to usage of respective 150kW and above load consumer. - Gross up energy consumption of such consumers for billing purpose by adding proportionate transforming losses so that energy consumption on HT side is determined since such consumer would be billed with HT tariff. Note: 1. The above charges would also be applicable to open access consumers on RInfra network. 2. All the charges are excluding taxes, if any.
