Company Introduction Duvalco Valves was founded 1956 with the goal of building high quality butterfly valves for the marine and ship building industries. One of the first company to produce butterfly valve in Europe Produce butterfly for the shipbuilding and marine industry The company was later renamed as Duvalco (Dutch Valve Company) In the period since then, Duvalco has expanded its product line to serve civil engineering, water treatment, industrial and construction industries and served markets globally. In 2006, Duvalco expanded its manufacturing capacity and established it corporate headquarters to Asia to focus on its growing customer base and market in Asia. Also, Singapore and China s is a centralized and convenient point. 3
Duvalco in Asia Duvalco expanded it operation to Asia with offices in Singapore and China as well as manufacturing facilities in China (Tianjin & Wuxi) to be close to our growing markets, yet serve global requirements. Technology, Design, Machineries, Moulding, etc are all transferred from Holland factory to China. Dutch Chief Engineer in place to supervise and ensure quality. 4

Duvalco Bonded Liner The bonded liner creates a 100% tight-off on the process connections due to extended rubber lining beyond the flanges facing, no flange gasket required. The bonded liner concept will create a corrosion proof design, complete elimination between body and liner. Bonded liner fully covers the valve body internally. All our valves are suitable for vacuum (negative pressure) services and high fluid velocity applications. (Ensure that liner will not be sucked into the pipeline). Duvalco Bonded liner concept ensures that the liner cannot move around which give you the following advantages; No tearing and distortion of the liner Very low wear of the seat Reliable low torque figures Exceptionally long seat life up to 3 x longer than replaceable liner valves Permanent dry lubrication free design due to stainless steel stem and bronze bearings Uniform sealing, bi-directional flow 29
Why Bonded Liner? Replaceable liner When sandwiched between flanges the liner is compressed across its width and can bulge out towards the disc. Load from disc results in further distortion of liner creating higher closing loads and increased wear and abrasion. Duvalco bonded liner Liner is bonded to metal across whole width of valve body, resulting in a smooth profile, lower closing torques and reduced wear. Lower torques mean smaller gearboxes and actuators. 30
