Introduction Application of Valves Function Introduction The short name identifies a modular system of solenoid operators and solenoid valves. All valves have got a plunger diameter of 6.5 mm, which has been fied for this size after thorough studies. The armature diameter is an essential influencing factor; its optimal selection is of great technical importance. After thorough studies and testing, has been proven perfect for miniature pneumatic applications. Application of Valves The solenoid operators / coils of system 6 are used for actuation of / or / way seat valves, particularly in pneumatics. The switching function normally closed is available. In case of / way valves nominal orifices of up to.0 mm can be reached. For / way valves nominal orifices of up to.0 mm at 0 bar can be realized. is mainly used as a pilot valve in pneumatics. The solenoid operators / valves were developed for the use with compressed air and other inert gases. If an application with other media is requested, Nass Magnet or its subsidiaries must be contacted in every individual case. Function When the solenoid operator / solenoid pilot valve is in its normal, de-energized state, the reset spring () forces the plunger () down onto the valve seat (), which is closed by the sealing element (), and the upper valve seat (5) is open to atmosphere. When the solenoid operator / solenoid pilot valve is energized, the plunger () is pulled up by the magnetic force, closing the upper valve seat (5) by the sealing element (6) and the lower valve seat () is open. The function of solenoid operators and solenoid valves are identical. However, the customer would assemble a solenoid operator with a valve body and valve seat to a solenoid valve. / way valves do not possess an upper valve seat. The function of the magnet is identical. 5

Other voltages are available on request. The perfect function of these solenoid coils and the respective components shown in this catalogue will be guaranteed for a winding at operating temperature (ma. ambient temperature and ma. voltage tolerance). The steady-state over-temperature is reached with lower parts of the valve in plastic and coils moulded with thermoplastic. All valves are made in compliance with DIN VDE 050. The alignment of the valves on manifolds is possible, but this leads to an increase in temperature by up to 0K and may lead to a restricted function. A general lifetime of the products cannot be specified, as it is decisively influenced by ambient conditions, the single application and the combination with other components. The function can only be fulfilled in case of eclusive use of Nass Magnet products. Should there be deviating or additional operating conditions compared to the abovementioned conditions, special testing is necessary in order to verify the usability of the Nass Magnet products.
