President s Page A note from the 2019 Jaguar Club of Southern Colorado President Rory and Emily Andrykowski. Thank you all for the wonderful opportunity to serve this great club. I will do my best to encourage this next year to be filled with worthwhile activities and social events. This will be an historic year for Jaguar. Advances in new technology and innovations are changing the automobile world and Jaguar is leaping in the lead this year with designs never seen before. Past-President s Page The new year is almost upon us and the JCSC will then be under the leadership of our 2019 President, Rory Andrykowski. Rory is well versed in Jaguar - his Classics are from each end of the technology spectrum. I would like to thank everyone for the support I have enjoyed throughout the last 3 1/2 years of my term as JCSC President. The Club has done a lot, traveled a lot and accomplished a lot. We will hit the ground running under Rory s guidance with a full schedule of events for 2019. As always, we are open to new destinations, new projects and any new ideas anyone may wish to bring to the Club. It looks to be a fun year ahead. As you can see in the above photo, I have my new Jaguar Travel bag (Thank You! to everyone in the Club for my wonderful going-away gift) packed and ready for the next Club event. I ll still be editing the Club newsletter and I plan to spend more of my newly acquired free time making it into a better, more interesting publication. Thanks for the ride! Don 12
2019 Driving for Kids Event Here is tentative information for the next Driving for Kids World Headquarters - Colorado driving event. Details are available at http://www.drivingforkids.com/theroute.html. We will add updates here as we receive them. We at Driving for Kids World Headquarters are contemplating adding a fourth day in 2019, our fourth year, to enable us to visit one of Colorado s great roads - almost to the Utah border. This planned extra day will still be less than 200 miles to allow the same pace and stops to which we are accustomed, and will permit us time to visit a wonderful car guy place we know you will enjoy. Because there are two sections of road that remain unfinished on this tentative route, (though they are currently under improvement) we cannot release the precise route until we have driven it which will be late next spring after the snow melt. If these road sections are not suitable for our old cars, the route will still be really good, just not amazing, so bear with us for the announcement and save the dates for September 21-24, 2019 and join us on the fourth annual Driving for Kids.
