Summary Preliminary results of the ongoing AECC PHEV test programme 1 Euro 6b C-segment vehicle Raw data, no RDE post-processing Comparison to a reference GDI PHEV emissions are lower when fully charged, enabling local zero tailpipe emissions Some driving mode and initial battery SOC combinations had higher emissions, also in electric mode The cold IC engine start in the middle of the trip has a significant impact AECC believes that emission results will further improve in the future thanks to better cold IC engine start calibration and GPF fitment Further work planned for the ongoing programme Confirm the GPF benefit, including for sub-23nm particles Explore the impact of going towards the RDE boundaries RDE post-processing analysis AECC PHEV test programme RDE working group 10/03/2017 20
