Unit Models NC/ND240C00F5***1, NH/NJ-20C00FX***1 and J20NC/NDC00F5***1 use Overload Relay 2143 for 575V Operation. 8. Remove the blower access panel (See Figure 1). 9. A bracket must be installed to mount the overload relay (See Figure 3). 10. Refer to Gen. 1 control box Figure 3 for hole locations and dimensions. 11. Drill three, 7/32 holes in the locations shown. 12. Locate the overload relay bracket in the kit. 13. Position bracket behind control box as shown in Figure 3 and align holes in bracket with holes drilled in step 11. 14. Attach bracket to back of control box using 3 screws provided in kit. 17. Disconnect and discard wires 122, 123 and 124. 18. Retrieve wires 122, 123 and 124 from kit and route from M1 contactor, through bushing in bottom of control box, to BOR overload relay. Connect wires per new kit wiring diagram. Tighten connections to 20 in. lbs. 19. Disconnect and discard wire 208/yellow from M1 contactor terminal A and BR1 relay terminal 5. 20. Retrieve wire 208/yellow from kit and connect one end to terminal 95 on overload relay. Connect other end to terminal 5 on BR1 relay. 21. Retrieve wire 209/yellow from kit and connect one end to terminal 96 on overload relay. Connect other end to terminal A of M1 contactor 22. Verify that trip setting on overload relay is correct per table on wiring diagram. Adjust if required by rotating yellow dial to align appropriate amp value with arrow. 15. Attach appropriate Overload Relay to bracket using 2 screws provided in kit. NOTE: The Relay is factory set and does not require field modification. 16. Disconnect motor wires 101, 102, and 103 from M1 contactor, and reconnect to BOR overload relay as follows: 101 to terminal T1, 102 to terminal T2, and 103 to terminal T3 per the new wiring label. 23. Re-attach the control box and blower access panels. 24. Supply power to the air handler unit. 2 Johnson Controls Unitary Products
