Profiling System
Profiling System for H-Beam Drilling and Cutting Profiling System With the Profiling System (APS), EPCA Germany provides integrated cells and full processing lines for (a). H-Beam (b). C-Channel (c). Angle steel (d). Flat bars Profiling System Excellent Quality The Profiling System allows Highest Productivity with breakthrough design featuring, reduced maintenance, reduced cycle time and improved production throughput with excellent drilling & cutting quality. Technical Data Beam Length: Web/width: Flange/height: Thickness: Profling System 6.000/12.000/18.000mm 150-1.500mm 75-800mm 10-35mm
Covering the full production line With the Profliling System, EPCA Germany provides all necessary modules and components for the individual steps of the H-Beam processing as machining with multiple drilling, marking and cutting devices. Configuration Default Setup Alternative Setup Fit for Future Production Challenges Depending on the available space and setup, the various modules for infeeding, drilling, cutting and outfeeding can be mounted in one straight processing line (footprint approx. 65x10 meter for an 12 meter H-Beam), or separate side by side as a drilling and a cutting cell. In the 2nd case a transfer of the drilled beams into the cutting cell by overhead crane or subfloor conveyor is required. Hint: Loading / Unloading of the profiles into the APS is operated manually by overhead cranes or fork lifter
Modules Loading Section: Conveyor Carriage CC. Consists of two different modules. Two reinforced rigid frame constructions with integrated crossbar of 5 meters in length for loading e.g. up to 5 H-Beams with 1,000mm web width each. The second module is an integrated hydraulically operated mobile subfloor lifting device to move the profiles from the loading / storage area into the in-feeding roller bed. ACC Beam Pusher In-Feeding Section: Support Roller SR5 ASR5 This module, a support frame with five integrated idle transport rollers and lateral stop wheels, must be installed right in front of the drilling/cutting section. The integrated Beam Pusher presses the profile firmly against the lateral stop wheels to align the material before entering the drilling/ cutting section.
In- and Out-Feeding Section: Idle Roller IR3 This module is a solid support frame with three integrated idle transport rollers to support the positioning of the profiles into, and after processing away from the drilling/ cutting section depending on the profile length repeatedly required. Lateral stop wheels will support/align the feeding motion in profile length direction. Modules AIR3 Out-Feeding Section: Power Roller PR1 This module is a sturdy support frame construction, equipped with one motorized lifting power roller, as well as four integrated idle transport rollers and lateral stop wheels to align the feeding motion. It will be installed at the first stage after the drilling/cutting section, to move the machined parts further into the outfeeding roller conveyor. APR1
Positioning device: FS-Robot Modules The FS-Robot is an integral part of numerical control system to ensure the reliability and accuracy of subsequent machining centre (Drilling / Cutting). The loaded profile is hydraulically clamped at one end by an CNC operated adjustable feeding arm system of the FS-Robot. It moves then CNC controlled on a linear guide rail, which is installed along the feeding roller bed and parallel to the lateral stop wheels. The FS-Robot positions the profile in accordance with the specified CNC machining program with a position accuracy of +/- 0,1mm. The linear rail is mounted with an integrated rack on a rigid torsion free sub construction, adapted to the necessary length of the used profiles plus 2.000mm dead length for the positioning device. AFSR Needle Marker device: XY-NM On demand, the Profiling System can be equipped with an optional available needle marker device. The needle marker will come with an xy-cross carriage module with an working area of 300mm x 150mm, to allow multiple lettering lines on the flange side of an processed H-Beam, C-Channel or Angle bar profile. The motion and the lettering process will be controlled by the drilling machine CNC. AXY-NM
Automated Drilling: Model BD The H-Beam Drilling Machine is a high performance, numerical controlled high speed drilling machine with multiple spindles in a rigid design for tough working conditions. It combines the latest development in AC drive technology with backlash-free planetary gears in conjunction with the Advanced Smart Windows Touch screen control for fast and precise positioning of the profiles / beams with up to 1.500mm material width and a max. height of 800mm. H-Beam Drilling Machine ABD Wireless Remote Control allows the operator an unmatched mobility to control the whole processing sequence visually from any angle and any position in the entire operation area. While drilling with up to 3 high speed drilling Spindles simultaneously, the H-Beams are clamped laterally by hydraulic brackets to prevent vibrations of the beam, and to avoid any unnecessary tolerances or damaging of the tools. In addition, hydraulic vibration dampers are positioned against the bottom side of the material to absorb the pressure of the drilling cycle. In profile length direction the material will be kept in fixed position by the hydraulic clamp at the FS-Robot. At the beginning of the drilling cycles, reference marks are inserted on the Web section for accurate subsequent processing steps. When the drilling process is finished at the active section, clamping is released and the FS-Robot will push the profile through the outlet passage of the drilling MC, and repositioning for the next drilling cycle.
Automated Cut to Length Model: BS Band Saw Machine The Advanced Smart Windows Touch screen control of the H-Beam Drilling Machine can be interfaced and control a subsequently optional installed Band Saw Machine. The reposition, measuring and cutting to length of individual sections of the H-Beams also takes place via the FS-Robot when the hydraulic clamping is released. ABS Single H-Beam Bundle C-Channel
Automated Cutting Model: BC The H-Beam Cutting Machine is a high performance 5 axis numerical controlled accurate, compact, versatile and reliable Oxy-Fuel cutting system with autoignition and in a rigid design for tough working conditions. It combines the latest development in AC drive technology with backlash-free planetary gears in conjunction with the Advanced Smart Windows Touch screen control for fast and precise positioning of the profiles/beams with up to 1.500 mm material width and a max. height of 800 mm. Wireless Remote Control allows the operator an unmatched mobility to control the whole cutting sequence visually from any angle and position in the entire operation area. H-Beam Cutting Machine ABC The H-Beam Cutting Machine can cut 3 faces (Web and both Flange sides) and can cut any angle on (a). H-Beam, (b). Angle steel, (c). C-Channel and (d). Normal plate. Cutting area is designed for H BEAM size: 1.500 mm (web), 800 mm (flange), 1.050 mm (cutting length) in profile length direction without repositioning. In profile length direction the material will be kept in fixed position by the hydraulic clamp at the FS-Robot while the lateral stop wheels will align the feeding motion in traverse direction. When the cutting process is finished at the active section, the FS-Robot will push the profile futher on the rooler bed and repositioning for the next cutting cycle. Parameter Input Shape Library
