1 Unclip the two tension clamps and remove the intake pipe, then disconnect the vacuum line from the factory air-box. 2 Hold the air-box from the bottom and pull it away from the rubber mounts. In the bottom of the air-box there are four rubber bushes. Gently remove the 3 highlighted ones from the air box. Store them as they will be re-used in the REVO kit. 3 Using a T25 torx socket, remove the two bolt that secure the front air duct. Keep the bolts as they will be reused in the REVO kit. 4 By using a T25 torx socket, remove the bolt illustrated in the picture. Twist the inlet elbow away from your-self and then pull out of the turbo.
5 Disconnect the DV line. 6 Remove the coolant globe cap to release the pressure in the coolant system. Using slip joint pliers, loosen the constant tension clamp and disconnect the OE hose from the metal hard line in the area shown. Insert the supplied cap over the metal hard line. Then do the same to end connected to the radiator pipe. Note: A very small amount of coolant will leak from the hard line and OE hose 7 Remove the plastic check valve from the OE hose. Take note of the orientation of the check valve in the hose, it will need to be installed into the Revo hose in the same configuration Note: It may be possible to remove the check valve by clamping behind the valve location with pliers and moving the hose to slowly dislodge the valve, to allow the OE hose to be reused. If the OE hose can be discarded, cut the hose to remove the check valve 8 Clean and lightly grease the exterior of the check valve. Spray a small amount of lubricant inside the end of the Revo hose shown. Insert the check valve into the Revo hose, ensuring it is oriented the same as within the OE hose. Ensure the check valve stops at the approximate position shown inside the Revo hose
9 Slip the OE hose clamps onto each end of the Revo hose. Install the hose as shown, starting with the radiator side. The hose should be oriented similar to the picture 10 Insert the bushes in the holes of the bottom of the heat shield which you removed from the airbox earlier and install as it can be seen in the picture. 11 Take two M5 washers, one M5 x 15 mm bolt, one M5 nylock nut, the vacuum connector and the heat shield. Screw the vacuum connector in the side panel of the heat shield as in the picture. 12 Secure the heat shield in the factory air box support connectors, by applying pressure. Use one T25 torx bolt from step 3, to secure the front of the heatshield in the position of the factory air duct.
13 Connect the OE vacuum line to the vacuum connector in the side panel of the heat shield. 14 Take the black billet REVO adapter. The REVO logo should face the turbo s inlet face. Screw the adapter clock wise for 30 to 40 degrees until it is secured. 15 Using a 10mm socket remove the highlighted bolt from the engine s block. Keep the bolt as it will be reused later. 16 Take the REVO hose. Using the 25-30, 25-40 hose clamps secure the two small outlet son the silicone pipe. Then loosely attach the 70-90 hose clamp on the turbo end of the hose.
17 Secure the Revo silicone hose to the new machined adapter but don t fully tighten yet, then re-attach the DV pipe to the outlet on the hose by pushing it on until it clicks. 18 Take the bracket provided in the REVO kit, one M6 washer, one M6 x 12 mm bolt and the bolt from step 10. Under the air intake hose there is a base where the M6 x 12 mm bolt will be screwed at. Screw the bolt by using a 5mm Allen key or socket. With a 10mm socket screw back the bolt from step 10 to the engine s block securing the REVO bracket. Once everything is lined up on the bracket, tighten the hose clamp at the turbo end of the silicone 19 Connect the vacuum silicone hose provided in the REVO kit from the connector to the intake hose. Install the air filter as shown using a 90-110 jubilee with a 7mm socket or a flat screwdriver. Check everything is tight. Start the car and check that everything is running as it should. Your installation is now complete, GO PLAY!
